The nuclear issue is a blast, blast, BLAST! Mr. Webby never met a nuclear industry lobbyist he wouldn’t take a kickback from. Nuclear energy will safely kill you dead. Or close enough…

Well, Tubularsock we used to live between four Nuclear reactors. My husband did biophysical research using Neutrons for many years. You can read his published papers by googling Peter Martel Neutron.
In actual fact nuclear reactors are very primitive in their operation. They use this phenomena to heat water and turn it into steam and then turn a turbine. They could use coal, gas or oil to achieve the same end. This is not great science. Then there is the issue of what to do with all the spent fuel rods. There has to be a better way. How about we get back to the drawing boards and come up with a better way doing things?

It has always made Tubularsock wonder why a people would create something where the waste product was more dangerous than the benefit of the creation. And now that is so openly clear and we still push ahead.
Only goes to show that WE are our best enemy.
