And who can forget “women issues”. Is Bill’s sexual predator raping fest a “progressive” view? THAT IS JUST SAD.

All in all what is about to happen in the United States is that due to continued American Stupidity, Step-an-Fetch-It Black Wall Street Slave Boy will be replaced with a White Wall-Street-Whore with her Pimp. And then business as usual.

Hariod, Tubularsock has always found that whenever you get a “group” of people together very soon a “natural” hierarchy takes form. And from that the new “bosses” are formed. Now this is from limited personal observation over the years but seems to hold true more often than not.
And it also seems that if one or two of these “new leaders” have an aggressive knowledge that provides answers people tend to gravitate toward that “leader”.
Even if a “new leader” attempts to dissipate this agreement the tendency persists.
Therefore it is not the system selected to follow (aka anarcho-syndicalism or what have you) that is the issue but the followers. And in the term “followers” implies the problem.
So it is not the form that needs to be reformed but rather the consciousness of the people. And with ALL the focus being taught from the cradle to the grave in the opposite
direction …….. good luck with that!
Of course, with Tubularsock as President in 2016 at least this country would have one of those enlightened

Yes, I understand the problem of leadership, tubular one. Implicit within Anarcho-Syndicalism is the concept that no state can ever act in the interest of the working people, thereby presupposing that centralisation will inevitably fall prey to an inherent power struggle for leadership, and consequent subversion of the very interests of the movement itself. So, to the extent that it’s possible, hierarchies are disempowered within AS. That said, human nature is what it is, and inevitably the charismatic and psychopathic will either by default or through their own bidding come to be regarded as figureheads. There is no utopia for the human condition. The transformation of consciousness you mention is inherent in Marxist doctrine, of course. Me? I became a Buddhist for that.

It seems I may have opened a tiny can of worms by using the term “gay”. No offense meant to anyone who is gay, I can assure you. I guess I didn’t know “gay” was a derogatory term. I can’t seem to keep up either.
For those angry or concerned, just know I am for individual freedom in all things, especially when it comes to this touchy issue.

Believe it or not, Tube, Central to Northern Ohio is not as backwoods as it would seem. Columbus has a large gay population, and beyond isolated incidents, there really never has been any war going on here, between Gays and Straights.
As you know, I went to college in the arts (music), and so, much like you and SF, gays are as normal to me as straights.
God damn, I hate labels. Maybe someday, they’ll all disappear!!
