Marching may only wake people up who have been asleep but even that is better than non-action.
The larger the discontent the more fear of economic disruption even if some of it plays into the power structure.
No question that there are better ways but not everyone is advanced in their political knowledge.

I have been reading much on this issue, and everything I read points to the exact opposite.
UNLESS… the activism is directed at overthrowing the system of government itself. Then, and only then, does activism serve a purpose. Any other kind of activism is desired by the powers that be, since it keeps the people playing their fucked up game.
Awake is only valuable when it leads to the destruction of the state!

sojourner, Tubularsock understands the concept and in theory it may be the only way to change a system but unless people are all on the same political level will there be that true change that is desired.
And in that is the problem. The manipulated forces have to this point “checked” the advancement of “state destruction” only because the false narrative has been made the “common belief”.
People don’t give up “trained false narratives” easily if ever! And the belief that the “Russian’s did it” or “the government IS the people” or “Santa Clause is coming to town” are continually perpetrated by the established power structure and MOST people buy into that as a comfort.
“Removing the state” just ends in the creation of a new state ……. no matter how ideal all the words have always been.

Great article and one which Tubularsock agrees with on many levels BUT working towards a goal of a new direction should not exclude action taken at whatever level that action is taken.
One can sit around and discuss and then there is NOW action. And both are necessary because we’ll NEVER get everyone on the same page at the same time. If that was possible we wouldn’t be having this conversation!

So why bother with any of this? I’m not blind either, Tube, I know this is the current narrative the majority of us have accepted as truth. But what is the point, then, of doing this blogging, if we aren’t trying to change things for the better? And you and I have both been programmed to believe this system/order can’t be changed, and you know it!
Cynicism and fatalism are fine, if that’s what floats your boat, but what good are either to humanity in the end?

How the world operates has always been absurd but Tubularsock just likes to throw stones into the waters and watch to see the ripples. For NO ONE can foretell the ultimate results of their simplest gesture.
For Tubularsock that is enough along with the sense of the absurd which is just the height of hilariousness. For those who laugh last laugh long.
As for state vs. no state the true state-ment can not be stated stately enough to incorporate a state of peace while at war with the state. Having no state requires no state-ment which excludes the state concept for there is no state to exclude.

To be honest, Tube, this is the only reason I continue blogging. If I didn’t blog, I would be pushing boiled eggs around with my nose in a millisecond. Or as you would put it, I would be more “bat shit crazy” than I already am. I need to vent somewhere, and my x wife is no longer available to torture, so that leaves me with this insane bullshit!
