TRUMP NOWHERE WALL— END OF THE LINE
Here’s a question for you America First Lovers. As OrangeTweet continues to promote a useless and limited wall to nowhere, Russia, India and Iran are working toward a 7,200-km long lane mixing sea and rail routes essentially linking the Indian Ocean with the Persian Gulf through Iran and Russia and further on down the road, to Europe.
The Japanese are looking toward a revamped Trans-Siberian Railway to improve trade connections with Russia and China. This too will help tie North and South Korea and Vietnam into closer economic ties as well.
There is no invasion here. No military attacks on sovereign countries or military bases being forced on any of them from the outside.
Just maybe that American Imperialism isn’t looking so good and the fact that we are losing on every front may mean that the U.S. is doing something drastically WRONG!
You know, if you really have something beneficial to offer, people will gravitate toward it. Not fight it. They’ll steal it!
Interesting that China and Russia are putting huge sums of money into infrastructure while we keep dumping huge sums of money into military exploits.
And on top of that the “best” plan is an ego-wall for the emperor!
The times have reversed …….. the end of the Han Dynasty in America?
Well, this whole wall issue has turned the Demander in Chief into a wallnut.

An excellent view, lonelyauthor and Tubularsock thanks you for your insight. And just maybe this “Wallnut” has a few screws loose.

I was thinking that as a wallnut, perhaps he should be left in a park full of squirrels. If they didn’t eat him at least they’d bury him.

Wallnut? Good one, that!

It’s strange, for me that is, that now I see the writing on the wall (pun intended) for America, for the very first time in my life I feel sorry for Americans. The coming years are going to be increasingly unpleasant, even unsupportable. There’s no doubt that as more infrastructure collapses and disease become rampant due to unhealthy city living conditions, violence will increase against all the wrong people, not that violence is ever justifiable. Yes, the future of America saddens me, and much of it will be felt equally here, a few miles north of the border. The Trump wall and the very loud sabre-rattling against Venezuela only spell one word: madness.

Sha’Tara don’t be too sad, we here in the U.S. still have a couple of weeks to live in fantasy land and believe we are the greatest country since sliced bread.
The Phoenix could still come out of the ashes but on second thought if you have ever been in Phoenix, AZ why bother?
But come on, all is good with enough drugs …….. ask your doctor!

Let’s hope this isn’t a dynasty, Tubularsock, he has children. We have a dynasty in Canada and it gets worse by the day.

You mean like the Bush’s and the Clinton’s? We already have enough! So Canada has issues?
What ever happened to those Canadian Mounties?

Yeh – the TRUDEAUs -translation “waterhole” Now there are allegations that he’s tried to push our Attorney General around. She would have none of it so he demoted her.

Well it shows Tubularsock NOT to become an Attorney General in either country!

Mounties? You mean the Hollywood ones? The real ones are hand in glove with your security state. Politically speaking there is no longer any real difference between Washington and Ottawa. Corruption knows no borders or boundaries.

Well selizabyang, Tubularsock would rather not see “the destroying of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre in the process”.
And all we get is a wall?

What Hitler failed to do – “Is Paris burning?” – maybe America will. Trump has to have something to show for his presidential legacy after all. Can you see those bits and pieces of French peasant exploiting artifacts welded together along the Mexican border to create a spectacular tourist attraction? I’m cheering at the thought!

Ohhh NO!!!! Not Canada and the Mounties too. Say it isn’t so!!! (sob!!!!) Except you can’t drain the swamp in Canada, it will have to be draining the Tundra..And now where can disillusioned Americans flee to? Look out Madagascar here we come!!

Yup, our little piece of shit TruDump is rattling his little paring knife to send Canadian troops against Venezuela among other despicable “Love ya Big Bro Trump” acts. As for the tundra, it’s just going to dry up into a desert, no draining required thanks to climate change. Of course there’s the possibility it will turn into a shallow sea… Just for fun, see, https://brooklynculturejammers.com/2019/02/09/introducing-planet-phuckett/

To tell the truth, it’s fucked up everywhere.
We are apt to think that ‘imperialism’ is something on which America has the sole monopoly. But this only appears to be the case because America’s brand of imperialism just happens to be as yet the ascendant if descending brand.
Something that I recently learned from Jack Rasmus: Russia now has a 70% stake in Venezuela’s oil exports and production (just as it does, coincidentally (in return for helping Assad and Co. flatten half of their country) in the phosphate mining sector in Syria). All of it for profit, of course. None of it to the benefit of Venezuelans (or Syrians).
With China (and Iran), the same (capitalisitc) dynamic is very much at play.
Where ‘making money’ is in play, ‘trade’ cannot but be exploitation and oppression, whether domestic or foreign.
So sadly, it ain’t just the U.S. It’s the same insanity prevailing EVERYWHERE.
Les “gilets jaunes” commencent a comprendre, à mon avis — ou du moins je l’espère.
As for the wall, under the ubiquity that is capitalist exploitation, it’s more about keeping the ‘illegal immigrant’ illegal than about keeping him or her out of the country: labor bereft of all rights is simply more profitable to hire than that with a modicum of legal standing.
Of course, in a world without exploitation, borders would be superfluous. Maybe one day . . .

Oooops. Correction: while it’s true that Russia now controls some 70% of the phosphate industry in Syria, it only now controls 49.9% of PDVSA. My apologies.

Norman, Tubularsock agrees the U.S. isn’t the only player in the world but our strategy of “world policeman” gets mixed up with our desire for “world domination” and then our policies take on a distorted aggressive tendency. And then BOOM!
When you really look, as you have within, the capitalistic nature of profit at any cost permeates the ruling classes in EVERY so call “political” system.
If “PURE” socialism and communism existed it may be beneficial to all but that ain’t going to happen.
Capitalism is centered on profit as the ONLY goal and as a result has been detrimental to people as well as the environment and will continue to be. It is the nature of the beast!
And as you point out the ruling classes are using capitalism to line their own pockets and have been forever.
One sign post Tubularsock has seen over the years is, look at the house the leader of the country lives in with HIS family.
And then look at the house the people live in with their family.
Communist, Socialist, Capitalist leaders ALL seem to live in a huge gorgeous house.
Now what does that tell us?
Comme “nous ” les capitalistes disent: laissez les gilets jaunes manger du gâteau!

Tube: You & I have had this discussion before. All Human Beings are corrupt, and the only reason God created them (according to the late and wise comedian George Carlin) was so He could get plastic. Well now God has his plastic (in obscene abundance actually), and humans are now expendable. Judgment Day ain’t too far away. Hallelujah!
