MILQUETOAST UNITED!

Fucking gag, gag, gaging …… all the way to the polls
Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily life among the trolls.

Well no surprise here.

O’Rourke, Klobuchar, and Buttigieg all rushed in to support their future with the Democraps.

What else could they do if they want to continue their groveling and pandering to the rich power brokers.

The trick is to keep your nose to the ground and your ass in the air. And they each seem really good at that for sure. And PROOF’S in the action!

And you’ll see Warren do the same thing.

Not that it matters but the little respect that Tubularsock had for Elizabeth over time has diminished to minus digits only because she sold out any principles she had along the way in part due to her ties with former Obummer advisors on her team. BAD CHOICE if you wish to end up with ANY integrity or respect.

But here is the bottom line:

The establishment Democraps, according to Dead-ol’-Joe, “. . . the people aren’t looking for revolution, they’re looking for results.”

And according to Bernie, “Let me be very clear, it is no surprise they (the establishment Democraps) do not want me to become president because our administration will transform this country to create an economy and a government that works for all of the people, not just the 1%”.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY

Bernie continues, “It will not be the same old same old.

But the other reason I am running is to defeat Donald Trump.

And the fact of the matter is if we want to defeat Donald Trump, we’re going to need a campaign that has energy and excitement that can speak to working people, young people, people who have given up on the political establishment.”

It is odd that when Tubularsock looks at Biden, Tubularsock notices he’s NOT exactly dynamic.

Most likely because he hasn’t had a new idea since 1945! Oh well, nothing wrong with World War II ideas for the 21st Century, RIGHT? How far RIGHT?

Tubularsock just can’t wait to see if Americans are awaking that they have been duped by the milquetoasts or that if they will be fooled again.

We as a country have been needing a change in direction for a very long time but SEDENTARY is a very difficult habit to shift.

So if Bernie doesn’t pull this out of the hat with YOUR help then whether it’s Biden or Trump won’t make a bit of difference. THE SAME RICH WILL RUN THINGS!

However with Dump it will be a quicker death than with the drip, drip, drip Biden way.

Tubularsock can’t wait to see!

You guys have waaaaay too much fun down there with your national erections… I mean “elections” hahahaha! Everything inside the US is about entertainment (even homelessness and mass shootings) and everything outside is about invading, murdering and plundering… well, something’s got to pay for the entertainment, I suppose?

This 243 year old system itself needs to be torn down to the ground, we need revolution, badly! Bernie will change nothing, if he is elected inside of this corrupt-from-the-get-go system. He won’t be able to, and for the same reasons Trump wasn’t able to make peace with Putin. The Anglo-Zionist pigs at the top of this pile of shit will not allow it!

Bernie, outside of this system, could be an answer, but inside the system, he is just part of the problem.

Having said that, it is amazing to me how the pseudo left and the neocons are out to destroy Bernie!

Gee sojourner, Top-Draw-Joe says “WE” are not wanting a revolution! And now YOU say that we need one.

What to do, what to do …………..

There is no question win or lose Bernie will get fucked over, PERIOD!

But change only happens if someone starts the direction. But if Tubularsock lives, as he plans to do, to 117 years old ……. just maybe!

        VOTE FOR NOBODY!

        NOBODY will keep election promises

NOBODY will listen to your concerns

NOBODY will help the poor & unemployed

        NOBODY CARES!

If NOBODY is elected, things will be better for Everyone

        Sha’Tara, well done!

NOBODY seems to shine with possibility.

        And NOBODY believes!

It takes NOBODY to make Somebody a NOBODY except time.

        Wonderful political philosophy.

There was once was A KNOW NOTHING PARTY in the U.S. but a NOBODY PARTY has real possibilities!

        Thanks for you input!

Just wanted to clarify! I like Bernie, while I hate all of the rest! And I feel bad for Bernie, because he is up against the devil incarnate. If we were under a new system, a system we the people/individuals created ourselves, I would stand in line to vote for Bernie or someone like him!

Just to clarify, Tube, that I am not at odds with your perspective!

  6. Given the massive turnouts for Bernie in recent weeks, I predict his supporters will be in the streets if he fails to gain the nomination. In other words, the US will become ungovernable.

DrB., the U.S. is not France so it will be business as usual in a very short time. However there will be more resistance along the way.

Yet ………… SHUT IT DOWN much like the Occupy Movement would be fun for sure.

Can you imagine just how fast the system would work for change if the young would boycott iPhones and have regular iPhone burnings instead of book burnings. A thought that will never happen because like most, the youth are part of the problem too!

Are you implying it is currently “governable”? 🙄

    Liked by 1 person

    • It’s governable in the sense, it still has the authority to throw (and keep) close to 2 million Americans incarcerated. I predict they will lose that ability in the next 4 years under either Trump or Biden.

Now DrB., let us be careful here and not forget that EVERYONE, in one way or another, is driven by fear.

And that fact helps to lead to CONTROL!

        Coronavirus anyone?

        Cheers.

Apologies for the size of the following, but it may prove interesting and certainly fits in with your claim:
Fear: The History of a Political Idea.

In a world where terrorism has been made foundational for diverse aspects of political, legal, and social life, fear has also been made foundational. In a world where we have to think about terrorism when making decisions from politics to travel plans, fear has been made a basic aspect of our lives. We need to understand this politicized fear in order to gain some critical distance between ourselves and unspoken assumptions. This is the purpose behind Corey Robin’s Fear: The History of a Political Idea.
Although fear exists on personal levels, Robin focuses on political fear — fears that “emanate from society or have consequences for society.” Such fears may stem from conflicts between societies (like terrorism) or stem from personal events (such as crime or racism). The first half of the book examines the ways in which philosophers such as Hobbes, Montesquieu, Tocqueville, and Arendt have explained or used fear as part of their political philosophies.
The second half, which will probably interest most readers, is “Fear, American Style,” an exploration of how fear has been used in America for the interests of the powerful: McCarthyism, mistreatment of workers, terrorism, etc. In this American context, Robin examines fear as a “political tool, an instrument of elite rule or insurgent advance, created and sustained by political leaders or activists who stand to gain something from it, either because fear helps them pursue a specific political goal, or because it reflects or lends support to their moral and political beliefs—or both.” Such historical analysis might be disturbing in a disinterested way, but what is really disturbing is Robin’s argument that we like fear and desire to be afraid.
According to Robin, we have latched on to fear as a basis for social cohesion in our communities and thus welcome reasons to be afraid because we perceive ourselves as being bound together by it. At the same time, though, we recognize that fear is ultimately empty and unable to serve as a basis for society. It’s a contradiction that lies at the foundation of America’s liberal democracy: on the one hand, our political institutions are predicated on a fear of the misuse of power; on the other hand, fear itself is misused in a way that undermines those institutions’ commitment to equality and democracy.
Emotions have been extensively studied by philosophers and psychologists, so there is sound academic work on the nature of emotions and how we can approach them. Unfortunately, little of this has spread to the general public. Insofar as people are unaware of how their emotions can be manipulated, they are also ill-equipped to counter attempted manipulation. In fact, some people seem to think that emotions themselves are immune to skeptical critique, but that is mistaken.

Fear: The History of a Political Idea, by Corey Robin
It’s useful to politicians that people adopt such an attitude, though, because by making people afraid it’s possible to bypass the normal political debates. We are made to feel afraid by being told that we are under attack by some fundamental evil — but because it is so evil, it’s not something that can be reasoned with or compromised with as we do in usual politics. The evil must be fought to the bitter end because “it’s either us or them,” and thus fear is used as a political tool for avoiding hard political debates.
Robin’s book appears to be aimed at a broad audience, but I suspect that people without some background in political science and philosophy will get lost at times through the first half. While an interesting discussion of how political philosophers have understood the nature and use of fear, it does get a bit dense at times. The second half doesn’t suffer from this as much, however, and there is a lot here which people would benefit from learning about.

Soooo Sha ‘Tara you NEVER even once addressed your flock? Missed opportunity for sure.

It is interesting, at least to Tubularsock, that Tubularsock’s grandfather was an official sheep herder moving sheep from Nevada to California by ground rather than truck or rail.

That was a few years ago. Tubularsock’s father in his youth assisted him. Some interesting stories none inspiring enough to lead Tubularsock into sheep herding however.

Yet, some early mornings while running Tubularsock will encounter thirty to forty migrating geese quietly eating grass near the lake Tubularsock runs and from time to time Tubularsock will stop and gain they attention by giving that a little political speech.

They seem to pay attention and at times even respond though Tubularsock will not put up with hecklers.

They are very polite, maybe because they are Canadian Geese.

And Tubularsock believes that he has their vote for open borders!

I’ve never understood why Americans are so scared of things like public health care and other essential services. These things should be givens wherever you fall on the political spectrum. But maybe that’s only obvious to those who already enjoy them, because it would be political siicide in Canada to suggest that health care should not be publicly funded.

      Yep, totality agree!

American’s are not the brightest clowns in the box.

It is an old cold war left over. OMG socialism = COMMUNISM.

It doesn’t but anything that doesn’t include being totally fucked and ripped off by a good ol’ Capitalist overlord is just unthinkable.

Maybe that is why so many Americans moved to Canada.
