A Case of Rather Simple Psychology: (re: AOC Attack on Jill Stein)

Hi Tube—
I assume you’re aware of Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s (AOC’s) recent (September 1st) vicious Instagram attack on Jill Stein.

AOC, a Democrat, is backing Kamala Harris for U.S. President.
Jill Stein, of the Green Party, is running for U.S. President.
AOC, as a backer of Harris for President, backs Harris’s pledge to continue
arming Israel with U.S. weapons which fuel the ongoing genocide
of Palestinians in Gaza.

Jill Stein would “on day one of my Presidency” stop immediately
the sending or sale of all weapons to Israel and stop fueling the genocide in Gaza.
AOC, before the “switch” of Biden for Harris, “accused Israel of genocide against the Palestinian people and advocated for cuts to US military aid until humanitarian relief flows freely in Gaza.” (see CNN interview with Jake Tapper March 24th this year)
She now backs Harris and Harris’s promise to continue the unremitting  flow of weapons to Israel.
Jill Stein has not ceased to call out,  since they began to become obvious for the world to see,  the atrocities in Gaza and to call for a complete halt of weapons sold or sent to Israel.

In her Instagram call-in, AOC called Jill Stein “predatory”, “not serious”, and “not authentic”.

My simple amateur psychology sees it this way:
AOC has to face in Jill Stein what she (AOC) turned her back on when she abandoned by the end of her first term in the House of Representatives her promise to BE THE CHANGE fearlessly.
The cushiness called and the cushiness won.
AOC became “not serious”  . . .  “not authentic” . . .
She sold HERSELF out—her stated values— and is now faced with Jill Stein who
has not sold herself nor her values out.

AOC’s attacks are not really on “Jill Stein” per se, but rather on this person (Stein)  whose presence forces her to be faced with her own sell-out.
Jill Stein IS “authentic” (check out her activist record since the Vietnam War and most recently her arrest on April 27th of this year in a campus protest against the genocide in Gaza).
Jill Stein IS “serious” (as she fights an uphill battle just to get on the ballot to bring forward her values to the American people).
AOC has gone for the ease of absorption into the comfortable and predictable fold of the Democrat Party—complete with its nominee’s (Harris) pledge to keep American arms flowing toward genocide.
NOT “serious”. . .  NOT “authentic” . . .
We’ve all done this at one time or another–—gone low and sold out on ourselves or  gone high and stood up for our  principles.
It’s a chance to NOTICE the human character and its choices as we watch the political “show”.

Well KO, Jill has been out there but she stands for something. And the power structure doesn’t want the voting public to even “think” about REAL change.

So they work to keep the lid on Stein’s activities. The news seldom covers her activities.

And as for AOC she lacks enough principles to be allowed exposure.

      Thanks for your observation.

      Now, watch your back!

  2. Continuation of my comment from last night, about AOC and Jill Stein: I like what Jill Stein is saying about the US support of Israeli entrapment of Palestinians. Why is the US even allied with Israel and supplying military equipment that they can use against co-inhabitants of traditionally common grounds? What has Israel ever done for the US?

WOW! THAT is the ten thousand dollar question! (Oh Tubularsock forgot for a second. It’s 2024 …….. it is rather the one hundred TRILLION dollar question!) A thousand dollars can’t get you a hot bowl of soap today!

Just maybe MONEY may have something to do with it.

“Jill Stein who has not sold herself nor her values out.”

For real. Some of the values that Jill holds dear:
