Now, much much later ol’ Ben Franklin proposed that the Turkey become the National Symbol because they were so prolific in the Colonies. A prophetic sign if Tubularsock has even known one when you look over the political landscape today.
But the Bald Eagle was chosen to become the national symbol which is rather a prophetic sign when you realize that the Bald Eagle was on the endangered species list.

Now this is really difficult to believe, well ok, not really. Only in a sane world would you find this difficult to believe but Tubularsock likes the “ring” of THIS IS DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE.
A Federal Judge has ordered AN IMMEDIATE halt (11/9/15) to the NSA’s phone records collection program ruling that the program VIOLATES THE CONSTITUTION. And in his new ruling Judge Richard Leon contends that the government’s Constitutional violation is so egregious that it could not be allowed to stand another day.
Now that isn’t the difficult to believe part. After all the 4th Amendment does say:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
As a reasonable person can read, this isn’t rocket science!
And this “victory” for your Constitutional Rights isn’t all that significant due to the fact that the NSA’s collection program is already set to end on November 29.
So what is so difficult to believe?
Well, this is not the first time that Judge Leon ruled that the collections program is unconstitutional. He ruled the same thing previously in 2013 and issued an injunction to halt the collection program.
But then he also issued a stay on that injunction, pending an appellate review.
It took until November 2014 for arguments to proceed in the appellate court, and it took that court until August of 2015 to issue its opinion—an opinion that came after lawmakers had already passed the bill to halt the program.
The appellate court decision was to reverse the lower court ruling that said the program likely violates the Constitution’s ban on unreasonable searches. (8/29/15)
The appeals court sent the case back for Judge Leon to determine what further details about the program the government must provide.
But THAT isn’t what is so difficult to believe.
What is so difficult to believe is that Judge Leon was surprised that the process took so long to provide a decision on the case. THIS SURPRISES A FEDERAL JUDGE?

TERRORIST “R” US!
Tubularsock is having trouble with the numbers. When Tubularsock adds up all the ISIS, IS, ISIL fighters and their Toyota pickups and add that number to all of The Free Syrian Army members who don’t even exist and put those numbers with the numbers of The Syrian Revolutionary Front and taking that total and adding in the Islamic Front and the number of members of the al Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front and of course adding in the Kurds and taking that total and adding in the American “boots on the ground”, the Turkish “boots on the ground”, and the Saudi “boots on the ground”, taking the total of the “boots on the ground” number and dividing by two for obvious reasons, Tubularsock has accomplished not only an extreme run-on sentence but a number larger than the population of Syria!
This may be the exact reason why there is such a huge uptick in Syrian refugees going to Europe. There is just not room for regular people to remain in Syria any longer. That and perhaps being bombed and killed everyday.
Now if you take the numbers of Assad’s army and add in the the Russian “boots on the ground” and the Iranian “boots on the ground” and taking the square root of that total and dividing into the massive number of “Freedom Fighters” well ……..
We have a mess. So after four plus years now it has been discussed that Syria may be able to sit in on negotiations of this “conflict” without eliminating their government beforehand as the U.S. had wanted.
But far more important to Tubularsock is, what ever happened to George-The-Lessor’s famous dictum …… “Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.”?
George-The-Lessor never made a distinction between the really “worst of the worst” terrorists (except all the ones he and Cheney tortured in Guantanamo) and the “moderately nice” terrorists. George said TERRORISTS! And if “you” aren’t with “us” then, well . . . .
But now that the “decider” has been away from the Presidential Desk for almost eight years American Foreign has gone to shit. The Black-guy just hasn’t worked out all that well.

Well Tubularsock was just tired today after all the killing and bombing going on to save EVERYBODY!
The old fear of WW3 again which is so comforting. It is like bringing back childhood again when at any second “they” instructed Tubularsock to dive under his school desk if the Russians dropped the ATOMIC BOMB.
And then they showed us all what would happen via an old noisy projector projecting onto a rolled down screen. The projector even sounded like a B-52 or whatever and the fear fantasy film was scary to many.
No, not to Tubularsock. When Tubularsock saw the film Tubularsock asked the teacher what would the desk do for us if THAT happened. Tubularsock was reprimanded for the question.
So, the very next time the ATOMIC BOMB drill happened again Tubularsock stood up and climb onto the huge window ledge facing the street.
Yep, that got Tubularsock sent to the principal’s office where the principal couldn’t answer Tubularsock’s question either. However, his chairs were comfortable.
Oh sure, Tubularsock’s parents were VERY UPSET.
And Tubularsock’s peers thought Tubularsock was crazier than bat shit but after all, the institution was known as Grey Avenue School ……. the color of the thought pattern of Tubularsock’s home town!
So that is why this is going to be MONDAY SCIENCE!
