UKRAINE PAIN!

Tubularsock is kind of like an elephant in the respect that he doesn’t forget. As the maimed-stream-news cycle continues …….. now it’s the refugee crisis which they are all animated about but never can figure out WHY this is happening. You know the destabilization of the Middle East by the U.S. and NATO.

It is like the refugee crisis happened in some kind of a vacuum. Only because one would have to put 2 and 2 together which has always been the maimed-stream-new’s problem. You know, that would take journalism to pull off. 

Anyway, Tubularsock has been reading what is happening in the Ukraine and it is truly fascinating.

You see, change is in the air and the discussion is like this (the nutshell version):

If you recall when we left off the U.S. overthrew the Ukraine and put  prime minister Arseni “Jaz” Yatsenyuk into power designated by Victoria Nuland as the man the Americans supported. And Nuland stated in a documented tape, “Fuck the EU” to the resistance to this choice by the EU.

But now the U.S. neocons (which Nuland and her husband are part) want to dump Premier Yatsenyuk (because of corruption) and replace him with the former Georgian Prime Minister Mikhail Saakashvili for new Premier of the Ukraine.

The fun part is that Saakashvili is wanted by an international arrest warrant for abuse of office during his term in Georgia. Saakashvili misappropriated Georgian taxpayers’ money. (New York Times)

Mikhail Saakashvili had emigrated to the US in 2013 and worked closely with the US Neocons. He is one of the key interlocutors of Republican John McCain, who is fighting for a hard line of the United States against Russia. (German Economic News)

Viktoria Siumar (Popular Front Party Deputy, Yatsenyuk’s party) who had previously worked for the US broadcaster Voice of America was named alongside the

US born Minister of Finance Natalia Jaresko and Saakashvili as Yatsenyuk’s possible successors.

Interesting side note: “Natalia Jaresko had previously worked in the US State Department and as an investment banker. In divorce proceedings her husband raised serious allegations against Jaresko, accusing them of corruption and misappropriation of taxpayers ‘money. Jaresko is the EU and the IMF main contact person in the distribution of European and American taxpayers’ money in Ukraine. Official annual reports on the whereabouts of these instructed by the EU and the federal government billions are not known.” (German Economic News)

So bottom line …… does anyone really think that CORRUPTION is any kind of reason for dumping Yatsenyuk? Corruption looks more like a qualification rather than a deterrent.

So what gives?

Well here is what Tubularsock sees that is happening and it is up to you to keep your eye on the ball with Tubularsock because Tubularsock only has four eyes plus his “third” eye and it’s the “third” eye which has focused on THIS BASIC FACT:

Yatsenyuk is against privatization of state property!

Or at least that is what he has said but Saakashvili (the new neocons darling) has also accused him of delaying reforms and being in the hands of the oligarchs especially Igor Kolomoysksi giving him favors in the privatization of the Ukrainian aviation industry.

Of course Yatsenjuk says that’s bull shit! (Це ЛАЙНО БИКА! in Ukrainian.)

According to Yatsenyuk it will be impossible to fight corruption without changing the country’s system of government in the Ukraine.

“The system of government in Ukraine has in fact remained the same as it was under the Soviet Union”, according to Yatsenyuk.

Currently, at least according to polls, 72% of Ukrainians think the government is going “in the wrong direction”. Two-thirds of Ukrainians have an “unfavorable” view of President Petro Poroshenko while 85% disapproved of Yatsenyuk.(Christian Science Monitor)

But really, what do the Ukrainian People know?

If you want the next down-field-play in the Ukrainian Drama ask the neocons they seem to run the inside track.

And that during the Bush Administration Georgia under Saakashvili’s leadership “. . . did all it could to become a staunch U.S. ally: It is the largest non-NATO member of the international security force in Afghanistan and, according to a report by the Open Society Foundation, participated in the CIA’s “extraordinary renditions” program detaining alleged enemy combatants in the war on terror.”(BuzzFeedNews 10/28/13)

Tubularsock has to fill in the gap historically for The New York Times, the supposed newspaper of record. The Times seems to have forgotten that playing a 1950’s “45” record is a bit archaic. Really, the Cold War is way over!

Now Tubularsock is using digitized-post-Cold-War-recording methods. And thus that scratchy record noise has been eliminated and by doing so Tubularsock will be doing something that The New York Times is incapable of doing. And that is REPORTING THE TRUTH.

Hey, it is the least Tubularsock can do. After all, Tubularsock’s top floor corner office in the underground bunker overlooking Washington, D.C. from Oakland, CA is rather cold today. And reading the information that the The New York Times keeps misusing in its reporting coupled with its jingoistic editorial manner, well it has warmed Tubularsock up to the boiling point!

So lets get some simple things straight.

ONE: The United States …… The Obomber Administration overthrew the Ukraine. FACT!

(Sub note: Fuck Victoria Nuland, if you get the reference. If you don’t, fucking Google it! You are behind your knowledge curve for this subject!)

That jerk-off is a co-founder of the Project for the New American Century which should be all you need to know but if it isn’t Google it! You are seriously behind the 8-ball!)

(Sub note 3: And fuck Dick Cheney and place his testicles in a 220 volt socket and pull the switch! That is to help Dick’s dick understand torture because his brain can’t. Don’t Google this because Google is behind on this idea …. Tubularsock just thought of it! And to bring this back to this current subject Nuland was Vice Cheney’s deputy foreign policy adviser.)

TWO: The passenger plane MH-17 was shot-down by the Ukrainian Air Force. FACT!

The U.S. blamed Russia but that was pure propaganda! Why? Because the U.S. has not produced one shred of evidence to back up their accusation. NOT ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE! Only accusation!

The Ukrainian Air Force is the side that the U.S. is supporting.

THREE: The United States has troops on the ground in the Ukraine. FACT!

The Russians are accused of having troops on the ground in the Ukraine but there has been no proof of that to date. BUT if they don’t then they are stupid because the United States is showing signs of aggression.

(Sub note: What would you think if the Russians sent troops to Mexico? How do you think the United States would respond? GET IT?)

FOUR: The Crimea VOTED (an overwhelming majority) to leave Ukraine and rejoin Russia. FACT!

Crimea was not taken over by Russia! The people wanted to join the Russian Federation.

The United States and Ukraine don’t agree with the results BUT close to 90% of the people living in Crimea wanted to join Russia!

FIVE: The United States wants to put missiles pointing at Russia in the Ukraine. FACT!

The reaction and response of the United States then is exactly the same reaction and response for Russia today. This IS rocket science hence the responses!

SIX: The Ukraine Government that the U.S. installed is controlled by Neo-Nazis. FACT!

Oh gosh and golly-gee. Tubularsock was sitting in his top floor corner office in his under ground bunker overlooking Washington, D.C from Oakland, CA musing over a couple of articles from the Huffington Post.

Tubularsock can’t really say many good things about the Huffington Post but on a day like today Tubularsock will read anything.

And these articles jumped out and landed on the desk so Tubularsock thought he’d put them into a verbal collage to see just what would happen.

The first article was about how “people” are not happy with Nicki Minaj’s new video.

Wow! Now there’s some “news”!

So Tubularsock put on his Cultural-Investigative-Reporter-Hat and went to work.

Admittedly Tubularsock is a bit out of the loop because Tubularsock didn’t know who Nicki Minaj happened to be. Now how in the fuck did Tubularsock miss this?

Well come to find out Nicki is a rather famous singer. Or Tubularsock thinks that what she does. Her videos are ……… well ah ……. she’s listed under music on YouTube anyway. Or maybe Tubularsock should say she isn’t Guy Lombardo.

Tubularsock likes rap as a form and the beat is hot but the lyrics get a little boring unless they are actually saying something.

Nicki’s lyrics do have a nice rhyme to them but the subject matter is well here’s an example:

“This dude named Michael

used to ride motorcycles

Dick bigger than a tower,

I ain’t talking about Eiffel’s

Real country-ass nigga,

let me play with his rifle

Pussy put his ass to sleep,

Tubularsock can’t wait for NyQuil to pick up Nicki for an advertising contract. Hey! Like it could happen at the Super-Bowl!

Or maybe this “song” Anaconda could end up like one of those wedding song the bride and groom sing to each other after the ceremony. You know they may have to change some names around but the wedding consultant deals with that! Like it could happen!

That was her old video. Her new video is the “song” Only.

And I’ll bet you can not guess what people are “UNHAPPY” about in this new video.

The social media went off the deep end about the Nazi shit but seemed to miss the lyrics as objectionable. But if Nicki’s life man doesn’t give a shit Tubularsock isn’t going to get work up over it! It did make Tubularsock sit back and wonder about “our” cultural priorities. But on the other-hand Drake rhymes well with sake and cupcake so all’s good.

Tubularsock figures people noticed how close our country is coming into it’s Nazi phase and have become alarmed. Yeah, right! But on the other-hand Nazi phase rhymes with USA so all’s good.

Now Tubularsock realizes that to transition into the second subject will seem like “A Tube Leap Forward” but trust Tubularsock here and we’ll end up in China.

And yes, as difficult as it may appear …….. there is a connection, or at least in Tubularsock’s mind. (scary isn’t it)

You know that Obummer and Putin are party’en down in China at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. And hey, they spoke to each other for a good twenty minutes. You know there isn’t a lot to say about economic cooperation when Obummer is pushing economic sanctions against Putin.

According to the Washington Times Putin presented Peng Liyuan a bouquet of flowers at a public event! There’s that Putin right out there with the hustle, right?

BUT LATER at the opening dinner for the APEC forum Putin was sitting next to Peng Liyuan and he got up and draped his coat over her shoulders because she was cold.

Or as the Washington Times put it:

With zero hesitation, Putin stood up, grasped his tan coat with both hands and draped it over the Chinese first lady’s delicate shoulders.

It was move that oozed smooth, though skirting dangerously close to flirtatious. (Cue jokes about Russian  aggressions.)

Peng, faced with the awkward prospect of sitting through dinner beside her husband with another man’s coat around her shoulders, handled it quickly.

After five seconds — long enough perhaps to show appreciation for the chivalry, short enough not to call attention to the awkwardness of it all — she stood up, discreetly handed Putin’s coat to an attendant and slipped on another jacket.

Now what struck Tubularsock about all this is that there was a time in our cultural history that a man who gave flowers to a woman or took it upon himself to drape a coat over the shoulders of a friend that was cold was considered to be chivalrous.

So you see how the times have changed and it may be considered “old-fashioned” but it does not mean that Putin was “hit’en” on her!

No hit’en on her in our modern culture today would require that Putin say loving words in her ear like,

Tubularsock has been hangin’ in the bunker in awe and amazement once again over how the shit that is spewed from the United States Government’s propaganda machine works so well. Even though it is straight-up lies and then those lies are smeared with bat shit. People in this country eat it right up. And EVEN the Europeans are at the table.

Well it only goes to show that vested interests dine at the same trough.

The entire propaganda ploy is really simple: Create and control the narrative FIRST.

That means that once you implement your fiendish plan you control the emotional thought patterns of the people.

You then continue to repeat the false narrative often regardless of what REAL truth comes out.

It is all a ploy but it works. And it has been used repetitively.

Need examples?

Simple!

9/11 …………… On the day the three buildings at the World Trade Center collapsed into they own footprint and in truck-able sized steel pieces the controlled narrative was being propagated.

And that narrative. Osama bin Laden did it!

Tubularsock hadn’t even finished his first cup of coffee before he was told that Osama bin Laden did it and that was repeated every minute of every day for years.

And why did Osama bin Laden do it?

He didn’t like our freedom.

Now remember that information was put out there so fast that the smoke hadn’t even cleared New York yet.

Not only that but ALL the news outlets knew EVERYTHING about Osama bin Laden even the address of the cave he was planning all this from in Afghanistan!

Now who was feeding the news media this information? Oh, come on …… just guess.

Remember ………… No one could have possibly THOUGHT that someone would fly planes into buildings said Condo-Rice and Little-bush-shit. So then how could they ALL know who did it and where he was and why he did it AND put it out to the media so rapidly?

And to this day if you would like to clear a space for yourself on a city bus or have room to drink alone at a cocktail party or to find alone time in a full cafe all you have to do is start to question the 9/11 narrative. The bull shit produced by the U.S. government has worked THAT well!

AND TO SEAL THE DEAL: To this day the majority of Americans still believe that Saddam Insane had something to do with the attack on 9/11!

EVEN after both Little-bush-shit and torture-cheney have come out and said that they had never said what they said about Saddam’s involvement. EVEN when you can see them say it on video and also see them say they didn’t say what they said on video.

Bottom line: The one out first with the narrative, even though it’s a lie, is the narrative that sticks in the minds of the masses! PERIOD!

That narrative was pushed by the American Government in the media and Assad was condemned and assailed as a heartless murderer.

Well, he didn’t do that!

It was discovered by international investigation that it was the U.S. supported terrorists that used chemical weapons on people. NOT the Assad Government.

It was because of that information that Obama had to drop the bombing of Syria idea.

But Obummer knew that ALL THE TIME.

Yet, just this week Tubularsock was reading a current article that referenced Assad’s use of chemical weapons ……….. remember the FIRST narrative sticks!

Which bring us to what Tubularsock  wanted to talk about …………  The flight of MH17 and it’s demise over Ukraine.

Now to many Tubularsock readers you already know this because you keep up with the BSN (bull-shit-narrative). For you, you can use your extra time by not reading further and polishing your Molotov cocktails. Or for many of you polishing off any kind of cocktails for that matter!

Now that the room is cleared …………..

Propaganda is much like a horse race. You want your horse out of the gate FIRST because that is the narrative that will be remembered.

And what came out first? Russia was responsible, PERIOD!

No proof, no investigation, no nothing EXCEPT ……… Russia was responsible, PERIOD!

That is the first hint that the narrative is false and of course …….. it is!

And then the corollary narrative ……… the Pro-Russian rebels were responsible which is equally false.

A simple trick Tubularsock always uses when these incidents occur is logic.

Why would Russia blow up an international flight of civilians over another country? What would be their advantage in doing that?

To what advantage would the Pro-Russian rebels have in blowing up an international flight of civilians?

To win friends and influence people? Come now!

So it is obvious that there is NO advantage for either of them to do this …….. nada!

So that leaves the American-puppet government of Ukraine.

And from the facts so far on the ground it appears that MH17 was shot down by the American-puppet government of Ukraine’s air-force. Not by a ground missile.

And the reason Tubularsock feels this information may be the correct answer is also based on logic.

And the logic goes like this ……….

The Russians have released satellite imagery showing that MH17 was in the same airspace with two Ukraine jet fighters just before the “incident”. There also were no sign of ground missile activity. But the Russian imagery is not as technologically as clear as the imagery that the spy satellite that the United States had flying over the same area would be IF THE U.S. RELEASED THAT IMAGERY.

Which means that OBUMMER KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED and rest assured that if it “proved” that Russia was really responsible it would have been out of the gate weeks ago.

That for Tubularsock PROVES that the American narrative is a pack of shit!

Also recall that a few days after MH17 going down the U.S. released satellite imagery showing Russian missiles being fired across their border into Ukraine to help the Pro-Russian rebels. And ranting about that “unlawful” activity.

Which only shows Tubularsock that the satellite imagery the U.S. has of the downing of MH17 does not support the American narrative!

CASE CLOSED.

PROPAGANDA BY ANY OTHER NAME IS TRUTH

There is so much bullshit around this Ukraine mis-adventure that it is starting to make “regular crap” look good!

Now I was talking to a highly educated friend of mine just the other day and he was asking why is it that Tubularsock “likes” Putin and didn’t Tubularsock realize that Russia was posing a threat to the Ukraine by concentrating troops along its boarders?

Well Tubularsock wasn’t surprised by this limited view because he keeps up with current news by reading Newsweek and Time Magazines. And he believes he’s “informed”!

Well sure, the guy has a stressful job and limited time to “keep up” with the world. What with all the different countries doing different things EVERY day and all.

Why not get it ALL your news under one fast-third-grade-level-read-umbrella?

Now, far be it for Tubularsock to go off on Newsweek and Time Magazines except to say that Tubularsock wouldn’t use either even as toilet paper. In part because I think one or both are only on line now and not in physical form any longer which causes a logistical problem as toilet paper. And the other reason is then what would I do with the New York Times?

Oh my, Tubularsock does digress!

Now there seems to be a bit of a disagreement between John Kerry’s view of the Ukraine and what is happening and RT’s (Russia Today News) view of the Ukraine and what is happening. No surprise there!

John (you remember him, right …. Secretary of State) called RT a “propaganda bullhorn” and it was pushing Putin’s “fantasy”. My, my.

Well according to DIPNOTE the U.S. Department of State “Official Blog” posted by Richard Stengel : that Kerry’s remarks resulted in “. . . a predictable howl of protest from RT’s editor, who claimed the State Department knows little about what is really happening in Ukraine today and had the audacity to request an apology.”

Now Richard Stengel continued with, “I spent seven years as the managing editor of TIME magazine [now that’s clear] before joining the State Department. I understand the difference between news, propaganda and opinion. Propaganda is the deliberate dissemination of information that you know to be false or misleading in order to influence an audience.”

Well Richard seems, to Tubularsock, to be the one who is propagating “falsehoods” when it comes to the Ukraine and if Kerry doesn’t really know what RT is pointing out then he is truly an idiot!

Let Tubularsock just lead you through a few of the things RT has brought to the attention of the world and how Richard Stengel and John Kerry seem to be the ones who are “misleading” and attempting to twist the information.

Last week it was claimed by RT that the United States had “invested” $5 Billion in regime change in the Ukraine. Richard Stengel says that that is a “ludicrous assertion”.

Yet it was Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Victoria Nuland who told a business group on December 13, 2013 that “. . . we have invested more than $5 billion in what was needed for Ukraine to achieve its European aspirations.”

In addition remember the intercepted, phone call where Victoria Nuland said her choice was to replace Yanukovych was Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The call was to U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt. 

Arseniy Yatsenyuk ended up as Prime Minister after the coup. Which shows collusion by the United States with the U.S. and European banking interests. 

But not a word about that from Kerry or Stengel. They act like it was a natural “democratic” process. Like the CIA involvement in the process was akin to boys scouts helping a little old lady across the street. 

Nor does Kerry or Stengel take on the issue of the dominance of Neo-Nazis in the new created Ukrainian Government as exposed by RT.

Now in Eastern Ukraine there was the incident cited by Kerry at the Geneva Conference that had been called to reduce tensions in Ukraine. Kerry said that, “Just in the last couple of days, notices were sent to Jews in one city indicating that they had to identify themselves as Jews. And obviously, the accompanying threat implied is – or threatened – or suffer the consequences, one way or the other.”

But a few day before Kerry’s speech that bit of information had been found to be the work of pro-coup operators NOT the pro-Russian Ukraine supporters.

Yet Kerry sited the information any way as if it were true. And he has the nerve to call RT a “propaganda bullhorn”?

It appears that what RT exposes The State Department just doesn’t discuss and thereby claims that it is RT that is doing the PROPAGANDA!

There is also the total lack of any discussion in the maimed-stream-media in the U.S. of the breaking of the deal made with Russia that NATO would not push for an eastward expansion which is why Ukraine has been overthrown by the U.S. and NATO backed cronies. It is NATO and the U.S. that has broken the agreed understanding with Russia not some aggressive move by the Russians!

The Russian move is a response. They, in this case, are not the aggressor!

Well the beat goes on. And the “free press” in the U.S. are so busy licking the asses of the government just like they did over Iraq that they have become again the government’s mouth piece.

Few in the maimed-stream-media do any investigation of ANYTHING with the exception of the detailed pictures of Kim Kardashian’s last bikini photo shoot!

Where RT, Al-Jazeera and CCTV (the new English-language programming set up by China) all give a more honest view of the Ukrainian mess than any press in the U.S.

Now this isn’t to say that one doesn’t have to be awake to bias from these news organization. But, if you try to broaden your news reading you will be able to find a broader world view than just “American Exceptionalism”. 

It was just a couple of years ago that Hillary Clinton was saying that the U.S. was “. . . “losing the information war”. And just couldn’t figure out why.

Well, let Tubularsock let you in on a little secret that he has discovered and that is that more and more of the American people are just sick and tired of “. . . the U.S. corporate media’s regurgitation of the manifold and manifestly deceitful justifications for U.S. actions abroad” as Ray McGovern (former CIA intelligence – Soviet Foreign Policy Branch) so clearly stated.

As for Tubularsock siding with Putin. Not so but I do like his coat!

Tube money heading 2013

 

 

Funny how things work out sometimes. Tubularsock was just sitting minding his own business as he tends to do on Mondays. And Tubularsock got to thinking about his old friend Vlad and what he was up to, so Tubularsock called him on his Bunker-Secure-Phone.

Now the BSP is a low tech NSA proof phone that connects to Vlad’s house, or palace or whatever. He’s got 20 Palaces he can spend time in as well as 58 aircraft at his disposal. Oh yeah, and then there is that £47,000 toilet but who counts. After all the guy is worth $70 Billion according to those who say they know. 

Anyway Vlad and Tube were commiserating over all the shit Obummer is laying down against Vlad’s friends with all those economic sanctions. Obummer announced the new asset freezes and visa bans against rich or politically connected members of Putin’s inner circle. Seventeen Russian companies and seven of Vlad’s associates.

Wow, what a sore looser Obummer happens to be. After all his net worth is a pauper sum of $12.2 Million. Hardly enough for a cup of coffee in today’s market place.

But, wait a minute, Obummer stated that, “The goal here is not to go after Mr. Putin, personally. The goal is to change his calculus with how the current actions he’s engaging in in Ukraine could have an adverse impact on the Russian economy.”

Oh gosh. Could these sanctions against Russia possibly have an impact on OUR economy?

Or Europe?

Well, damn straight!

That is why these sanctions don’t apply to Gazprom. Gazprom is a major Russian energy consortium and provides natural gas to Ukraine and much of Europe. The question becomes will Europeans be willing to pay twice the price for natural gas this winter in order to allow the United States to attempt to pressure Russia and be the big boy on the block?

That is why the U.S. has left Gazprom alone for now but if and when Obummer attempts to up the ante with sanctions against Gazprom that is when China and others will be happy to take as much of that natural gas that Russia can supply.

And if and when this showdown occurs Russia is already planning how to survive economic sanctions: how to sell its goods in rubles. People will buy because Russia is too big of a producer to ignore.

And China and Russia could easily form a real non-dollar bloc dealing in Yuan or rubles and this will affect the worlds economies. No longer will the dollar hold as significant of a position.

Now Tubularsock has trouble balancing his own Bunker-Check-Book so there is no pretense that Tubularsock is the last word on explaining the world’s economic issues but when Tube figured Vlad may need a short-term loan we penned an agreement.

THE GOLDEN SHOWER!

Tube cafe heading

 

 

Tubularsock was busy today, in my top floor corner office in my underground bunker overlooking Washington, D.C. from Oakland, CA, kicking extra gold doubloons on the floor to the stack under my desk.

After-all it is Wednesday. 

And what do you know. It just happened that last week acting Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk ordered 33 tonnes of Ukrainian gold to be transferred to the United States so it could be safe.

Boy, Tubularsock feels better already!

You remember Arseny, right? He’s the Prime Minister that the United States picked to run the NEW government of Ukraine.

Counter that with Crimea taking A VOTE of the people  to see what direction they wanted to go in forming a new government. Those sneaky Russians!

Now this transfer has been reported in the Ukrainian press but it seems that the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Embassy in DC and the Ukrainian mission to the UN in NYC all seem not to know.

When the U.S. State Department was ask they referred all gold transfer questions to the Federal Reserve of New York and they are so secretive about their gold storage and trading activities that they won’t say. And what does that say about power when the United States State Department has to defer to the Central Bankers. Hmmm.

But those who seem to know the Fed’s banking practices feel that the Ukrainian gold has been delivered safely to vaults in China under U.S./UK bullion bank contractual delivery obligations, where it will be locked away for centuries.

The Ukraine sovereign wealth transfer will be counted as partial “collateral” for a fresh round of International Monetary Fund, United States Federal Reserve and European Central Bank paper debt that is currently being organized for dumping into the Ukraine.

Once their gold is gone and replaced with interest debt Ukraine will be placed on that austerity program that Central Banks love so much which means debt slavery is their future FOR- EVER!

Next, corporate takeover of the “natural resources” and all Ukrainians will start to enjoy their new lives under the Neo-Nazis government picked by the United States FOR THE PEOPLE. Hey, didn’t you know …….. that’s how American Democracy works.
