Occupy Wall Street … Strike Debt

Friday night Nov. 16th at the first anniversary of their eviction from Zuccotti Park, Occupy Wall Street held a concert at Manhattan’s Le Poisson Rouge nightclub.

The celebrity’s and local artists that performed donated their time and the performance was held as a “bailout for the 99 percent”. Nice.

Here is the concept:

Thousands of people are loosing their homes because of medical debt so Strike Debt (an offshoot of the Occupy Wall Street Movement) are taking the money they acquire from these concerts and have begun erasing people’s medical debt by infiltrating the debt-collection industry. Sweet!

According to Fabien Tepper’s article in Yes! Magazine :

“The tactic is to buy private debt the same way collection companies do—on the debt market, at tiny fractions of its original worth—and then cancel it in hopes of freeing debtors from their piled-up medical bills. It is hoped that the action will bring debt servitude to the forefront of our national conversation.”

The concert raised more that $293,000.00 and because they will be buying discounted  debt they will be able to buy up 5.9 Million Dollars of debt! They will be able to bail-out nearly 4000 families.

It is interesting to note that 62% of all bankruptcies are directly caused by medical debt.

The Strike Debt movement emphasizes that they are NOT doing “charity” or “forgiveness” of debt but rather “solidarity and mutual aid.” Yates McKee, a Strike Debt organizer says, “We’re calling for this to be a political act of economic non-compliance, we are intentionally withdrawing our consent from this system.”

BENGHAZI BOOGIE

Now that we know what Petraeus has been doing in his spare time Tubularsock would like to focus on the Benghazi Boogie.

This is not a new nor is it a unique Dance. The CIA’s dance card has always been full when it comes to these kinds of operations. Just like Jackie Chan always beats his way to victory and James Bond always gets the girl, the CIA ALWAYS funds extremists in a conflict.

When Tubularsock was researching Latin America the same theme prevailed and the Benghazi Boogie is the same old templet.

It goes like this ……… they always start with the “right” foot. Hence, all those right wing dictators the U.S. supported for years in Latin America. The CIA would and did overthrow democracy in order to have the Corporate class maintain that ol’ “free enterprise” spirit.

Supporting the “interests” of the United States has ALWAYS been getting the natural resources of other countries for ourselves. And if the “people” are in the way? Kill them, torture them, disappear them. They are dispensable.

Now a half dozen Congressional Committees are up and running investigations into the Benghazi Issue. The House Committee On Home Land Security and the Senate Intelligence Committee (an oxymoron if there ever was one) to name just two.

Sen. John McCain is calling for the establishment of a Super Special Committee to investigate the matter but he can’t even attend the committees he is on already and got all pissey with the press when confronted with that reality.

But really what in the hell is Congress doing?

As I sit and read about Petraeus’ CLOSED testimony before the House Homeland Security Committee I am once again in awe. Just how does Representative King, the chairman of the committee pull his head out of his ass in order to tell reporters that the testimony differed from a classified briefing he (Petraeus) gave lawmakers on Sept. 14, three days after the attack.

Did the attack come about because of the anti-Muslim film or was it a “terrorist attack”?

On Friday, however, Mr. Petraeus “told us that this was a terrorist attack, and there were terrorists involved from the start,” Mr. King said.

Now this was a closed session because?

Well, ahh. Well, there are “secrets” that can’t be told to ahh …….. the American public for Christ sake!

Ok ………. what do you want to know America?

Now a case can easily be made that Tubularsock is not in a position to know government secrets. In fact, truth be known, Tubularsock is like the low man on the totem-pole.

But this is what Tubularsock knew before the Benghazi attack.

1. The CIA were running guns and heavy weapons as well as recruiting fighters to bring

down the Assad’s government in Syria.

2. The CIA was using Libya as a staging area.

3. Among the “recruits” were known jihadists from al-Qaeda.

4. The CIA  has always supported terrorists and used them as proxy warriors to

overthrow  foreign governments ……. it’s a major thing they do along with money

laundering, as well as arms and drug trafficking. (Who do you think trained and

supplied bin Laden in the early days?) Expect blowback from these new actions.

5. Libya after the killing of Gaddafi went into and still remains a country that is

destabilized. So is Afghanistan and Iraq no matter how much the litany has continued

that “we have won”.

6. U.S. programs that included the use of secret prisons, extraordinary renditions, and

torture and abuse involved CIA collaboration with Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi as well

other despotic Arab regimes.

Now EVERYONE knows this! All you have to do is Google it. There is so much information on this subject that you couldn’t read it all if you wanted to. And if you follow the links provided with the articles and papers you can get down to people that are in positions to report what they are seeing in real time.

So if you want to know you can know. So why doesn’t Congress know? Why doesn’t Obama know? Because they are SO IMPORTANT that they are briefed by the CIA.

It’s the old fox in the hen house scenario. Are you kidding! The CIA is going to brief Congress on the CIA!

Give Tubularsock a break!

Why are all these committees in closed sessions? The people on the ground in Libya know, the Syrians know, the Arab street knows. So why is Congress so “secret”? Just maybe it is to prevent the American public from knowing.

But you can know if you want to know. It really isn’t even that time consuming. Maybe three beers and you have the overall plan that is being conducted. Five beers and you are communicating on an al Qaeda website and by seven beers you are a jihadists!

Tubularsock is on his ninth beer and is working on plastic explosives. Hmmm.

What did Tubularsock know within one day after the Benghazi attack?

  1. The U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was a CIA cover. The U.S. State Department list NO consulate in Benghazi, Libya. (The news media is still referring to the consulate as a consulate even after nearly three months!)
  2. How could this “consulate” be surprised without adequate protection when it had been a target of a bomb in June?
  3. Ambassador Stevens was negotiating between militant groups and was running guns and larger weapons. He was no innocent bystander. He was killed.
  4. Sean Smith a State Department information management officer was also killed.
  5. The first accounts claimed that Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were “private Security Contractors” while in reality they were both CIA. The idea was to divert attention away from the CIA. (No one that counted was fooled.)
  6. The “Consulate’s Annex” held three prisoners. This was confirmed by Paula Broadwell in a speech in Denver on October 26th.
  7. The assumption of the attackers was that the CIA were torturing the prisoners. This may have been true but Tubularsock is just reporting on hearsay about this. I haven’t heard any further collaboration but it is the CIA after-all!

So, now tell Tubularsock what exactly is Congress investigating? Is there any above information that is not found by pressing Google?

And these guys get paid for this bull shit? I guess the whores are on winter break so Congress has nothing better to do until they return.

ALL IN: David Petraeus

Wow, is life stranger than fiction or does life just imitate fiction?

Here’s the rundown:

Four star general David Petraeus has a glowing biography written about him and his military “genius”. Sweet.

He’s banging his biographer. Nice.

Now is the biography a testimony to his “general-ness” or his fucking?

 And after reading it do military types masturbate to it?

Questions, questions, questions.

Tubularsock is sure that ALL generals aren’t good in bed. And all generals aren’t very good at being generals. So here is the dilemma.

Can you trust this biographer?

And what does “ALL IN” mean exactly.

Now ……….. Congress wants to know.

Isn’t it just like Congress. They are as bad as the Supreme Court. Anything to do with sex and they are both all over it.

Do you think Justice Clarence Thomas is still whacking his pud over Long-Dong-Silver?

(Just a disgusting thought that comes to Tubularsock whenever he thinks of Thomas.)

Well, let Tubularsock set the record straight for you.

So far, MRS. Paula Broadwell (the biographer) threatened via email MRS. Jill Kelley (“a close friend of Petraeus”) because according to The Washington Post Paula perceived the “other woman as a threat to her relationship with Petraeus”. With threats like, “back off” and “stay away from my guy” Kelley passed her concern off to her friend, Frederick W. Humphries, from the FBI. The friend that just a few months before sent MRS. Jill an email photo of himself with his shirt off, bare-chested. No threat there.

Is that interesting or what. Especially because the Biography’s full title is All In: The Education of General Petraeus.

Now do you think that David is learning something here?

This is beyond classic for Christ sake!

But wait, there’s more Mrs. Paula Broadwell is a national security analyst and a military intelligence veteran and “. . . her previous post was deputy director of the Jebsen Center for Counter-Terrorism Studies at Tufts University’s Fletcher School.”*

The Jebsen Center is tied into the Hudson Institute, a neocon heaven. The Hudson Institute “ . . .  operates inside Israel, where it pushes the far-rightist views of the most extreme elements in Israeli society: the settler movement, and the faction of Likud angling for war with Iran. It has also focused its attention on purging universities of academics who don’t toe the right-wing ultra-nationalist Likudnik line.”*

 So the question has been asked by Justin Raimondo, editorial director of Antiwar.com, was Broadwell a lure of the Mossad to bring down Petraeus?*

Why else would an experienced security analyst leave a direct trail back to her?

Now if that was it it would be easy. But of course there is more.

Let’s call Mrs. Broadwell, Mata Hari number 1.

Now you remember Mata Hari? She was a Dutch exotic dancer who was accused of being a spy for the Germans in WW1 and was executed by firing squad in France on October 15, 1917 at the age of 41. (Broadwell is 40).

Well, enter Mata Hari number 2?

MRS. Jill Kelley (37) is a socialite in Tampa Florida. She is Lebanese and she pals around with all the military brass from MacDill Air Force Base, Fld. which is the  headquarters to the U.S. Central Commend. She is outgoing and sensual and very popular with men. She and her husband are wealthy though in financial difficulties and throw many social events for the military brass.

Jill also has an identical twin sister, Natalie Khawam living with she and her husband who is attempting to go bankrupt to the tune of 3.1 million dollars!.

This could get complicated.

Jill also is an honorary consul for South Korea. Why? According to the South Korean news agency, Yonhap, because she has “. . . good connections . . . and a willingness to develop Korea-U.S. relations”.

For example, even as all this intrigue is in progress her access to high-level military officials remains in full swing when Vice Adm. Robert Harward, a top commander, showed up at a Halloween party on Kelley’s front lawn. Harward was in full dress whites and Kelley wore a tight-fitting red dress. (now tell me Tubularsock doesn’t know the latest gossip!)

So you see it looks like Gen. John Allen has to stand in line. Even though he and Jill have been sending “flirtatious” emails over a long period of time investigators are now reviewing over 20,000 to 30,000 pages of documents and emails between Allen and Kelley between 2010 and 2012.

Now Tubularsock would consider this 20,000 to 30,000 to be a lot pages. Maybe that is why we are doing so badly in Afghanistan. That is about 41 emails a day for two years.

 So what documents would be so important that that many would have to be sent between a General and a Socialite? Are our relations with South Korea any better?

Among those documents would be a letter of support from General Allen (Petraeus sent one as well) to the judge handling Natalie’s (remember Jill’s sister) messy child custody case. Her ex-husband was awarded custody of their son.

It appears that both Allen’s and Petraeus’ judgement were a bit lax because the judge said that Natalie was “. . . dishonest and lacking in integrity”. So much for a “general view” wouldn’t you say?

Now MRS. Jill’s background is Maronite Christian.

The right-wing Maronite Christian party, the Phalange, allied with Israel and struggled to maintain the Maronite Christians’ domination of the Lebanese political scene.

There is no information to tie MRS. Jill to The Phalange but just the fact that she’s a Lebanese siren is enough to place her into the Mata Hari category but only as a courtesan. But with 30,000 documents who can tell what information she has acquired and for whom.

Now is this fun or what?

Well, not for Holly Petraeus, David’s wife. You know the little woman who had his two kids and raised them while he was playing general. The woman who stood by him for 38 years. A summa cum laude graduate of Dickinson College who gave up her career to be a military wife. You know that Holly Petraeus.

She also is the daughter of General William Knowlton who was serving as head of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point when Petraeus was a cadet there. According to Horace Campbell, Professor of African American Studies and Political Science at Syracuse University, “Petraeus was known as an ambitious officer from the time that he was at West Point when he grasped that marrying the daughter of the superintendent of the West Point military academy would enhance his career.”**

The word on the news circuit is that Holly is “furious” but in her role as a military wife will likely “stand by her man”.

As for Paula Broadwell’s husband Scott little is known about his reaction to the situation but according to the New York Daily News, “When the news of the Petraeus scandal broke the couple was celebrating her 40th birthday at the romantic Middleton Inn in Washington, Va. and when they arrived, they were “upbeat,” but as they checked out early ” . . . all of a sudden, they were not in very good moods,” a source at the inn told the newspaper.

Happy Birthday to you, honey!

Well on such an upbeat note Tubularsock has lost interest.

Maybe someone should write a novel about this. Nah ……. who would believe it!

Election Is Over 2012

Now Tubularsock is happy! The election is over and now the “people” can go back to sleep. In fact for Obama-people, he really doesn’t need you anymore. After 2008 he dropped his base because he didn’t need them. And some of them still came out to help him not to need them again. Does stupidity grow on trees?

But hey, great news. No really ………. Tubularsock is being optimistic here ……….

Let’s move forward!

It is comforting to know that the Tuesday morning kill meetings will still be ongoing without interruption. Donuts anyone?

And from those meetings the continuation of drones killing women and children without interruption will still be ongoing.

Thank god Wall Street will continue to gamble without restrictions.

And Health Care will still be controlled by the Insurance Industry.

The Pharmaceutical Industry will still be able to charge unlimited amounts of money without restrictions.

And BP will receive new off shore drilling leases.

And transparency will remain opaque.

Continued war without end.

The continuation of that Drug War.

And they will still be saving us all from marijuana.

Boy, this FORWARD thinking is so refreshing. Kind of keeps one riveted with joy.

And gosh, with those kind of policies in place Tubularsock is just overwhelmed with expectation for the future. Isn’t looking forward fun.

And with that ol’ step-an-fetch-it-style that O-bomb-ah has exhibited Tubularsock recommends you keep your eye on Social Security because the Black Wonder is going to gut it within the next four years. Don’t think so? COUNT ON IT FOLKS.

Now I know you think you voted and your vote counted this time. No! You still don’t get what is happening?

Obama is President only because the “owners” want to eliminate Social Security. 

Just like a Democrat couldn’t become “friends” with China as Nixon did because it would look like they were being “soft” on communism a Republican couldn’t dismantle Social Security for fear of a violent backlash from the citizens.

So. Enter Obama. 

So many of your think the “good-guy” won. You will see that as the tooth fairy isn’t real nor is THIS “good-guy”.

Now don’t think that Tubularsock wanted Romney for a second. Tubularsock has exactly the same feeling about Romney as former Gov. Jessie Ventura. And that is, “I don’t want a President that wears “magic underwear!”

But Tubularsock’s real concern is what is televangelist Pat Robertson going to do now. For years The Christian Broadcasting Network and Pat’s 700 Club has stated that Mormonism is a CULT.

Then Pat endorsed Mitt and a “miracle” happened. No seriously, a MIRACLE”!

Overnight the CBN and the 700 Club web site was scrubbed of any mention of Mormonism being a CULT!

But now, when they continue to prepare the world for the “Second Coming” will Mormons get to go too?

One thing for sure ……….. O-bomb-ah will not be going! According to Pat, Obama may be a MUSLIM or rather “. . . was trained in a madrassa, one of those Muslim schools, but nevertheless that is his inclination”.

Like Tubularsock always says in these situations ………… PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!

But Robertson earlier this year revealed that, “I think He (God) showed me the next president, but I’m not supposed to talk about that. So I’ll leave you in the dark — probably just as well — I think I’ll know who it will be.”

AND THE ENVELOPE PLEASE ………….. Oh shit! It’s a MUSLIM INCLINATION!
