I puzzle over his motivation at times. I know he aggressively pursed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan due to the immense profit it made for his company Halliburton. I admit to being baffled how you transform torture into a profit making venture.

Oh DrB. it’s a good thing that Tubularsock has already figured everything out.
You are talking about two different things here.
One: Profits from war and the war machine ….. what better way to make money than to sell something to the government that they blow up voluntarily and then have to buy some more.
And Two: The working mind of a psychopath. When you are dealing with abnormal and violent social behavior you are dealing with one sick motherfucker and Dick Cheney takes the cake.
Tubularsock would say that loving torture may be as simply as,
“Lynn ….. beat me beat me!”
To projections of the “excitement” of Cheney’s mothers potty training practices.
Maybe it’s Cheney’s early anal fixation or maybe it’s the fact that his father “played” with him.
But hell, let’s get logical here and go for the simplest explanation of all.
Most truth is simple, as you already know.
Look at his name: DICK ……….. CHAIN ……EEEEEEEEE!
If you grow up with a tortured name, well? ………… reason and deduction, Dr Watson. Reason and deduction.
