Japan: Comic Relief

Well if you haven’t heard, Japan or perhaps just the government or at least some of the Japanese people or many of them or over half of them or at least the number that will allow this to happen but “THEY” are going to re-start the Sendai Nuclear Plant even after their knowledge about the risks as exampled with the continuing Fukushima disaster that is like the gift that keeps on spewing!

The Sendai Plant will be the first nuclear plant to reopen since 2011.

Ok. That’s not the funny part. Now Tubularsock does admit that he at times has a bizarre sense of the absurd but this is got to take a cake. Or at least a muffin.

The local officials have voted to reopen the Sendai Nuclear Plant EVEN THOUGH IT IS ONLY 40 THAT IS 4 ….. 0 MILES FROM THIS:

tube fuck volcano

Mt. Ontake erupted just a month ago …….. just so you are clear Sendai Nuclear Plant is only 40 miles from this active spewing volcano!

Care for funnier?  The Sendai Nuclear Plant is also only 31 miles from Mount Sakurajima, an extremely active volcano which erupts on a regular basis.

Now what could possibly go wrong with this scenario?

Now there is active anti-nuclear opposition but the government wants to restart Japan’s nuclear industry because ………….. TAPCO owns the government. So the people don’t really get a say UNLESS they shut down the country.

Oh don’t count on that ……… some people have even moved back to the Fukushima area because the government said it was safe to do so.

It is so safe that Tubularsock is going to open THE FIRST EVER tanning spa where your tan comes from the “inside” out in just a matter of days. What could be better?

No tanning beds …….. you just sit on the spa’s deck and tan away. EVEN AT NIGHT!

THE TUBULARSOCK EVER-GLOW TANNING SPA and sake bar.

With pre-cooked sushi from the sea.

Reservations available, reasonable rates for the unreasonable.

contact: phone 1-800-burn-baby-burn (no collect calls accepted)

Now don’t think some silly people are not attempting to warn the officials.

Like the scientific authorities.

Oh did Tubularsock mention the INCREASE in seismic activity in the area?

Oh well. As the Japan Times stated:  “Sendai reactors [are] vulnerable to eruptions [and] could cause a nationwide disaster, said Toshitsugu Fujii, University of Tokyo professor emeritus who heads a government-commissioned panel…”

But not to worry ……… The Government regulators RULED OUT a major eruption!

The Government regulators RULED OUT a major eruption! Tubularsock just had to repeat that. So perfect, The Government regulators RULED OUT a major eruption! Now come on …….. that’s funny!

What a relief  ………

Good point. If it’s any consolation, we had to deal with the BP oil spill that hardly leaked any oil according to…BP.

Come on Jeff …….. BP said only a few drops of oil was coming into the G of M. The U.S. Coast Guard didn’t see any oil except most of them were in Iraq. And President Obama allowed BP to start drilling deep water again.

Really? You bring this insignificant incident up as a consolation? You probably think the Exxon Valdez leaked oil too! Damn liberal!

Polarity again…. Bright, sharp & clever people of Japan / sheeple Japanese that follow each other over the cliff, plunging to shattered bodies and a bloody death – one right after the other ’till the pile reaches the height of Mt. Fukishima. Shut up and follow big brother – sound familiar??

Oh Dearing, you are always so positive. Tubularsock does seem to notice a constant theme running in the world ……… maybe it’s the human race that’s the problem.
Oh, to only be a cockroach ………. fuck nuclear destruction!

Hilarious… NOT! Japanese gov’t is nearly as sold out as the US. Perhaps they drank the radioactive cool-aide, caught the swine flu, and/or drunk with exceptionalism! Sit back and watch the fireworks… Chin-Chin/ make that ching-$ka-ching!

Thank you 1EarthUnited. Oh, don’t worry the Japanese Government, the French Government, the English Government, the Russian Government the Chinese Government …….. should Tubularsock go on? No the American Government hasn’t cornered the market on “ching-$ka-ching” but we have cornered the market on bomb-boom-bomb! Thanks for your comment.

  5. The reason they can get away with this is that most medical problems are downstream problems, such as cancer and birth defects that only manifest themselves over decades. And even then the link to radiation exposure can only be proved by statistical methods.

When the time comes, the idiotic politicians who mad this decision will be long gone – hopefully in jail.

  6. When government regulators rule out major eruptions in seismic activity areas and give the ‘all clear’, why we can all just breathe a deep sigh of relief and get on with the business of living it up because we know that we don’t have a care in the world. The regulators have calmed our fears and instilled in us the belief that “all is well, trust them!”

You know, I think people should just stop taking everything so seriously. I really do. I mean, we don’t have a whole helluva lot of time above ground anyway and with the heaping helping of bombs away and ‘fry me to the moon and back’ why, what’s the fucking point in attempting to live healthy. What’s that anyway? How the fuck can we do that? Hell! One minute the doc tells you to “eat an apple, it’ll keep you away from the doc,” then the next you’re hearing all about the pesticides that have been sprayed on the apples and for goodness sakes, stop eating the goddamn apples already, you wanna be dead quick or what?!” Pick yer fucking poison I say, and according to whomever you ask, it’s every damn thing! To hell with it all. Live it up until we keel over because not many of us are going to go all peaceful like in our sleep. Not a bit of it.

Another excellently done post Tube! And I call yer sake and raise the flute!

Dear Dan, do you mind if I re-blog this my way? I don’t like how WP does it. Of course, all attributions, etc are given and nothing gets changed. I’d like to promote your stuff. It’s funny and clever. Lou
