Tube heading kickback

Well Tubularsock has decided today to think inside the box. You know, like “they” think. How can one figure out how in the fuck “they” think inside the box without taking time to “wear their moccasins” and get inside the box too?

Now looking over the recent general news cycle to see if anything was of interest to Tubularsock the story of Why Does ISIS drive Toyota pick-ups came into focus. Talk about fascinating up to the minute coverage of the maimed-stream-media!

Admittedly Tubularsock answered that question in the obvious way and the answer that Tubularsock came up with was because the Toyota Dealership in Turkey was having a NOTHING DOWN, NO CREDIT CHECK, LOW APR DRIVE OUT THE DOOR GIGANTIC EXTRAVAGANZA Toyota Pick-up sale. Just what other answer could there be?

Toyota stopped all deliveries to Syria in 2012.

The second thought that Tubularsock pondered was …… who wants to know and why?

It’s a “free” world, right? So every time you see a YouTube Video of ISIS they are driving in a long column of Toyota pick ups with ISIS members hanging off of them like a crowded Miss America float.

SecretISIS Tube

Some would see that as a perfect drone attack opportunity but for some odd reason the American Military doesn’t seem to notice. (Though Wedding Parties seem to be their target of choice.)

The Russian Military has noticed this target opportunity and in just the last week or so the Russians have killed more terrorist in Syria than the U.S. has in the past two years!

So is the U.S. conducting a “War on Terror” or what? (you know the answer)

So where has all this questioning of ISIS and Toyota pick-ups come from and why?

According to the German Economic News “ Senior US officials have contacted the automobile company Toyota in connection . . .” with the question of ISIS procurement and use of Toyota’s product.

Toyota’s public relations director of Toyota, Ed Lewis stated it’s not Toyota’s fucking problem or in HIS own words, “Toyota maintains strict rules, which provide no way for those cars” to be used for terrorist activities but Toyota has “. . . no possible way to control the resale of the cars”.

According to Mark Wallace, a former US ambassador to the United Nations, and the CEO of the Counter Extremism Project, a group specializing in tracking terrorist finance channels states, “ISIS has used these vehicles in order to engage in military-type activities, terror activities, and the like . . . but in nearly every ISIS video, they show a fleet – a convoy of Toyota vehicles and that’s very concerning to us.”

Wallace believes that Toyota should do more to investigate and disclose the illegal channels that are used by ISIS and to put in place regulations that would “. . . make sure we don’t see videos of ISIS using Toyota trucks in the future”.

It is odd to Tubularsock that a guy who is CEO of a company that gets paid for specializing in tracking terrorist finance channels is expecting a car company to spend its time doing more to investigate and disclose the illegal finance channels.

Hey Mark! That’s not their job ……….. That’s your job, dude!

Come to find out that it is the U.S. Treasury that were asking the questions about where all these fleets of Toyotas were coming from and who was responsible for supplying them to ISIS.

tube treasury logo

As you know the United States Department Of The Treasury is in Washington, D.C. and one of their many responsibilities is to “. . . identify and target the financial support networks of national security threats …”.

So somebody in the USDT sitting behind a gray metal desk in the basement of the Treasury said one Tuesday morning:

“Hey Sam, where does ISIS get all those Toyota pick ups?”desk kim

“Don’t interrupt me William, I’m on the new financial porn site!”

“Man, have you seen what she does with derivatives?”

“Will you get off that asset market, and listen!”

“Where does ISIS get all those Toyota pick ups?”

“Man-o-man William. Do you think it is an underground cell or something?”

“Well let’s ask, Sam!”

According to ABC: “U.S. counter-terror officials have asked Toyota, the world’s second largest auto maker, to help them determine how ISIS has managed to acquire the large number of Toyota pick-up trucks and SUVs seen prominently in the terror group’s propaganda videos in Iraq, Syria and Libya.”

Someone in the United States State Department just coming off a coffee break just a few blocks away from Treasury.

“Jim, just sent another 43 Toyota pick ups to the Free Syrian Army.”

“You know Harold,  they are a regular staple of our “non-lethal aid to the Syrian rebels, right?”

“Yeah, Oubai Shahbander, the Washington-based advisor to the Syrian National Coalition told us that, ‘“Specific equipment like the Toyota Hiluxes are what we refer to as force enablers for the moderate opposition forces on the ground. The US-supplied pickups will be delivering troops and supplies into battle. Some of the fleet will even become battlefield weapons . . .”’.(PRI)

“You know Jim, the British have also supplied a large number of Toyota vehicles to terrorists fighting inside Syria as well.”

“Yeah Harold, standard protocol.”

*****  “Of course, the trucks didn’t materialize in Syria. They originated outside of Syria and were brought in, and in great numbers, with the explicit knowledge and/or direct complicity of the US and its regional allies. Asking Toyota where the US State Department’s own trucks came from is another indication of just how lost US foreign policy, legitimacy, and credibility has become.” (Tony Cartalucci, Global Research 10/9/15) *****

“William, did you ever get any answer to the ISIS/Toyota problem?” Treasury assets

“Sam, don’t interrupt me I’m on the derivatives porn site, dude.”

“Oh, sorry ………”

Thanks L/T ……. Tubularsock’s spirit animal is the coyote which has fit Tubularsock’s life pretty well. Don’t fret the little stuff but see if by chance if your bank happens to have some drugs of the trade in the branch office that they could loan to you ……. will help you sleep. Thanks for your comment and support.

  2. “So is the U.S. conducting a “War on Terror” or what? (you know the answer)”

This is simply a typing error. The US is conducting a War OF terror and the “f” was mistakenly replaced by an “r”.

A PS, DrB. Tubularsock took the liberty to change the last sentence of this blog to your insight of A War OF Terror. Thanks!

A friend gave me his old Toyota over twenty years ago (200, 000 on the odometer when I got it). Ran like a charm. I drove it for three years before it finally blew up. Great car. but I never carried any ISIS folk in it, that I know of?

I bought a brand new Camaro in 1969: Butternut Yellow with a black vinyl roof and four on the floor. The guys I was working with at the time called it “the bruised banana.” But I digress!

Maybe my old friend is still buying Toyotas and giving them away to folks in Syria?

But just think what would have happened if these cars had been Chevy Vegas or Ford Edsels? They would have all fallen apart and broke down before Putin had a chance to blast them and their occupants.

It’s all too much for me! I am so confused! Whoopdedoo for my Suburu!

sojourner thanks for your comment and your critique of the automobiles of the realm. Tubularsock is a big fan of Toyota pick-ups himself. In fact, have one ’84 with over 250,000 miles on it but had to rebuild the engine when it blew a piston. Have it in NM now.

Then have an ’06 Tacoma bought used in Oakland.
Tubularsock is a big fan of Toyota and the fun loving boys of ISIS as well.

Chevy and Ford are more a Cuban thing not a Syrian thing.

Another stumper, Tubularsock. It’s almost as if there is something far more simple going on. In the country I live in they can easily gain multiple insights into my life as well as my car’s by simply typing in a number -and I’m not even a terrorist. It would seem that the US military/CIA should be able to figure out where these trucks are coming from…unless… 😮

    • tubularsock says:

Thank you for taking the time to comment Johnny. It is odd that all the spying is going on but nobody knows shit! Might tell us something, yes?

And you are correct …… your car can tell you that you have low tire pressure and even where you are in space and time but the U.S. Government is lost to where those trucks were going to and coming from ……..funny how that works.
