Well the U.S. is quickly going to hell in a hand basket except things have been delayed by the fact that we get our hand baskets from China and at this moment they are sitting in a container on a container cargo ship stranded outside the Port of Oakland because of the delayed supply chain issue.
But take your bundle of concerns and set them on the side table because our beloved Dead On Arrival Joe BuyDone has called for a gathering of DEMOCRACIES to show the “selected” world that the U.S. is a leader.
Even Austria and Australia who have both gone full Nazi over Covid control over their populations still are going to show up in the “Democracy” column.
And of course Israel the Apartheid State is still being called a Democracy so they’ll be there. BUT ONLY due to the optics of having Israel attend as the sole representative from the Middle East was a nonstarter so they had to invite IRAQ. They are safe only because we killed most of them except for the puppet “democratic” government we left behind to “handle our interest”.
As for China and Russia they weren’t invited, nor were the Arab World in general. And parts of Asia, Africa, South and Central America were left out too.
Well shit, lets all sing one bar of God Bless America!
So not to be out done, the The Arab Council and the pro-democracy organizations from around the Arab world, Europe and the United States organized the “Democracy First for the Arab World” conference.
Tubularsock just can’t wait for Saudi Arabia to show off its Democratic principles. Funny how democracy and Saudi Arabia seems not to exactly mix.
But don’t fret, Tubularsock has gotten the contract to deliver meals to the conference. It will be a simple menu. HAM and cheese sandwiches, Fried HAM and BACON with eggs and the best of all Ham Juice fortified with Vitamin C.
What could go wrong with a menu like that?
You know, we here in the U.S. can’t seem to handle our poor population with enough assistance. We can’t seem to get a minimum wage worth shit. And we can’t provide health care to our sick population.
But we always have time to TALK AND TALK AND TALK AND TALK about how well democracy works. Just like we love to TALK AND TALK AND TALK AND TALK about how much we love to TALK AND TALK AND TALK AND TALK about doing something about climate change.
And Tubularsock knows we all can agree that by 2053 we’ll be excited to TALK AND TALK AND TALK AND TALK about calling another Summit/Conference to TALK AND TALK AND TALK AND TALK.
Rest assured.
Democracy works so well that the House has just signed a military budget this year for $768 billion.
And great news, Saudi Arabia, you know the Saudi Arabia that IS NOT INVITED to BuyDone’s Democracy Summit has just been given a contract to buy $650 million worth of missiles and missile launchers from the United States!
Who says not being a Democracy doesn’t Pay!
And just when all seems to be lost,
JPMorgan Chase Global Research says in a forecast to clients: “2022 will be the year of a full global recovery, an end of the global pandemic, and a return to normal conditions we had prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.”
See, when the powerful money interests say “it’s”over then it’s over!
That is as easy as it can get. Now you can get back to THE NORMAL WE KNEW!
A job you hated.
No health care.
And slave wages.
Now come on, one more chorus of God Bless America!
So much for Globalization…how well did that work?
A military budget of $768 Billion…well now, could they be planning something? If the pandemic doesn’t take our minds off the financial crisis maybe a war would do that?

Just maybe wars will become obsolete if the controlled Corona virus can kill the number we need to preserve the earth. And we’ll call this freedom!

chuckle … you’ll never get rid of wars Tube. They may be done on a different level – and perhaps you are right – the Corona Virus is a war on humanity.

You sound like Kandiaronk, the chief of the Hurons in the late 17th century. He was an extremely eloquent critic of European culture and governance, and his analysis had major influence over Rousseau, Leibnitz and other members of the Enlightenment. I just learned about him yesterday in this new book David Graeber wrote with David Wengrow just before he died last year. Too bad no one listened to Kandiaronk because he nailed it.
