NEWS THAT ISN’T!
The German Economic News reported that a current Princeton/Northwestern University study has discovered that, The United States is no longer a democracy. Well no shit, Dick Tracy!
It takes two Universities to study and come to THAT conclusion?
Even a fucking beer swigging, football watching, wife beater, with a sixth grade education has figured that out just sit’en on his fat ass! It’s just that he doesn’t give a shit!
You see the Universities discovered that “. . . political decisions no longer serve the needs of citizens, but the interests of a small economic elite”. Wow. That’s as surprising as “fish have fins”.
Where in the fuck have these “educated people” been! Fucking DisneyLand?
And sit down because they discovered that in the realm of foreign policy it is the COMMERCIAL INTERESTS not the American citizen that the U.S. Government represents.
And they found that, “In the United States, the majority does not rule . . . As soon as a majority disagrees with the economic elites or organized groups, the majority loses . Although in the US the majority principle is incorporated in the Constitution, we note that even if fairly large majorities want a certain policy, they do not get it “.
The researchers determined that the U.S. government has become an oligarchy or a Corporatocracy. This means that a very few among the privileged and wealthy are literally controlling everything.
And Congress and the President do not have as much power as the American people previously thought but are controlled by the elite.
Now there is no surprise here for those who have wanted to see the truth but most Americans believe that their VOTE counts for something. IT DOESN’T! It is all a sham.
And you can vote for Hillary or Jeb but you’ll get the same government. These people are just puppet figure heads and nothing more!
Tubularsock just can’t figure out why something so obvious is refused to be seen by the general American public.
Regardless of whether we face it or not it will not remain this way. It will either be the American public forcing a demand for change and going to the streets in mass or a collapse from within from the weight, just because shit is heavy, and that weight will bring us down.
Either way it will not hold!
“Either way it will not hold!”
I sincerely hope that you are right!
“It will either be the American public forcing a demand for change and going to the streets in mass”
..and look at what happens when Americans take to the streets to protest outright murder. Lamestream media relegates them to a bunch of hoodlums breaking windows, looting and fucking up vehicles and getting in the way of the entertained drones that would rather watch a baseball game. The lamestream media continues to downplay why the people take to the streets and instead focuses on how horrible the protesters are for their unruly behavior. I don’t see this changing anytime soon.
Great post btw.

Right on Shelby you’ve got that right! But like so much of civil disorder when the people really wake up and see what they have refused to notice or at least had failed to take action about before then things change. When the police come up against people who have “nothing to lose” the entire action takes on a whole new order of things. If the action is large enough even the cops may no longer want to risk their lives for the ruling class! Let us see …….. Thanks for your comment.

We have the same problem in Canada. We’ve been “Sold Out”. I think it is time we refuse to vote en mass. I’ve often gone and declined my vote. Maybe it’s time for anonymous to step in.

Tubularsock is afraid that the sell out is world wide really. There are a few hold outs but the main governments are folding to the Corporate Elite and to turn that around will not be done by the vote. Tubularsock has invested in pitchforks and drones. Thanks for your comment.

I heard a good interview on the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to day that has a lot of potential. The program is called The Current and is hosted by Anna Maria Tremonte. Google it and you can listen to it. It’s called Blueprint for Revolution by designArchitect’s blueprint for a revolution uses humour against tyranny He was in his twenties when he organized protests that would oust Serbian dictator Slobodan Milošević. Now he advises others in non-violent uprisings. Srdja Popovic uses everything from laughtivism to civil disobedience to galvanize those trying to overthrow the world’s toughest dictators. It is also good for Corporatocracies.

Isn’t it amazing, this beer swigging, college football watching fat-ass, should actually be a professor at two major universities!
These two institutions of higher learning sound like morons!
And your closing says it all! It’s going to be one or the other, and soon. So we better get off of our self-absorbed asses, and stop dwelling on the past and political rights, like so many are inclined to do today.

Princeton and Northwestern: these two fine universities have finally figured out what most of us ‘conspiracy theorists’, out here in the real world, have know for years.
And here it is:

Leslie, Tubularsock enjoyed the CBC “The Current” interview with Srdja Popovic. A couple of thing bothered Tubularsock about this interview.
I like the basic practical joke set ups against the power establishment and all that but what bothered Tubularsock was that he either doesn’t understand the true roles of the different players in the Middle East or he himself is playing two sides of the political divide.
Also in the interview his connection with STRATFOR analysts came up and he brushed it aside with saying he’d talk with the CIA and the old KGB as well about how counter revolutions are planned.
That being said as well as the fact that Popovic has been accused of giving information about grassroots activists to Stratfor as well as being a go between between Stratfor and Muneer Satter, a Goldman Sachs investment banker leads Tubularsock not to trust this guy.
Interesting interview by Anna Maria Tremonti however and thank you for directing Tubularsock to the program.

I reckon that roughly half of Americans have figured out that the US isn’t a democracy – which is why they don’t bother to vote in elections.

So true, Dr.B. But it’s the other 50% that Tubularsock is worried about. Maybe when they wake up we’ll get so place!
