Well Tubularsock has decided today to think inside the box. You know, like “they” think. How can one figure out how in the fuck “they” think inside the box without taking time to “wear their moccasins” and get inside the box too?

Now looking over the recent general news cycle to see if anything was of interest to Tubularsock the story of Why Does ISIS drive Toyota pick-ups came into focus. Talk about fascinating up to the minute coverage of the maimed-stream-media!

Admittedly Tubularsock answered that question in the obvious way and the answer that Tubularsock came up with was because the Toyota Dealership in Turkey was having a NOTHING DOWN, NO CREDIT CHECK, LOW APR DRIVE OUT THE DOOR GIGANTIC EXTRAVAGANZA Toyota Pick-up sale. Just what other answer could there be?

Toyota stopped all deliveries to Syria in 2012.

The second thought that Tubularsock pondered was …… who wants to know and why?

It’s a “free” world, right? So every time you see a YouTube Video of ISIS they are driving in a long column of Toyota pick ups with ISIS members hanging off of them like a crowded Miss America float.

Some would see that as a perfect drone attack opportunity but for some odd reason the American Military doesn’t seem to notice. (Though Wedding Parties seem to be their target of choice.)

The Russian Military has noticed this target opportunity and in just the last week or so the Russians have killed more terrorist in Syria than the U.S. has in the past two years!

So is the U.S. conducting a “War on Terror” or what? (you know the answer)

So where has all this questioning of ISIS and Toyota pick-ups come from and why?

According to the German Economic News “ Senior US officials have contacted the automobile company Toyota in connection . . .” with the question of ISIS procurement and use of Toyota’s product.

Toyota’s public relations director of Toyota, Ed Lewis stated it’s not Toyota’s fucking problem or in HIS own words, “Toyota maintains strict rules, which provide no way for those cars” to be used for terrorist activities but Toyota has “. . . no possible way to control the resale of the cars”.

According to Mark Wallace, a former US ambassador to the United Nations, and the CEO of the Counter Extremism Project, a group specializing in tracking terrorist finance channels states, “ISIS has used these vehicles in order to engage in military-type activities, terror activities, and the like . . . but in nearly every ISIS video, they show a fleet – a convoy of Toyota vehicles and that’s very concerning to us.”

Wallace believes that Toyota should do more to investigate and disclose the illegal channels that are used by ISIS and to put in place regulations that would “. . . make sure we don’t see videos of ISIS using Toyota trucks in the future”.

It is odd to Tubularsock that a guy who is CEO of a company that gets paid for specializing in tracking terrorist finance channels is expecting a car company to spend its time doing more to investigate and disclose the illegal finance channels.

Hey Mark! That’s not their job ……….. That’s your job, dude!

Come to find out that it is the U.S. Treasury that were asking the questions about where all these fleets of Toyotas were coming from and who was responsible for supplying them to ISIS.

As you know the United States Department Of The Treasury is in Washington, D.C. and one of their many responsibilities is to “. . . identify and target the financial support networks of national security threats …”.

So somebody in the USDT sitting behind a gray metal desk in the basement of the Treasury said one Tuesday morning:

“Hey Sam, where does ISIS get all those Toyota pick ups?”

“Don’t interrupt me William, I’m on the new financial porn site!”

“Again?”

“Man, have you seen what she does with derivatives?”

“Will you get off that asset market, and listen!”

“What?”

“Where does ISIS get all those Toyota pick ups?”

According to ABC: “U.S. counter-terror officials have asked Toyota, the world’s second largest auto maker, to help them determine how ISIS has managed to acquire the large number of Toyota pick-up trucks and SUVs seen prominently in the terror group’s propaganda videos in Iraq, Syria and Libya.”

Someone in the United States State Department just coming off a coffee break just a few blocks away from Treasury.

“Jim, just sent another 43 Toyota pick ups to the Free Syrian Army.”

“Great!”

“You know Harold, they are a regular staple of our “non-lethal aid to the Syrian rebels, right?”

“Yeah, Oubai Shahbander, the Washington-based advisor to the Syrian National Coalition told us that, ‘“Specific equipment like the Toyota Hiluxes are what we refer to as force enablers for the moderate opposition forces on the ground. The US-supplied pickups will be delivering troops and supplies into battle. Some of the fleet will even become battlefield weapons . . .”’.(PRI)

“You know Jim, the British have also supplied a large number of Toyota vehicles to terrorists fighting inside Syria as well.”

“Yeah Harold, standard protocol.”

Lets look at Syria. But don’t Russia too fast you might trip.

Now Tubularsock wants to get to the bottom line quickly so you can unload all that anti-Russian neocon bull shit that is oozing out of the New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and all of the rest of the fucked up stenographer-maimed-streamed-press.

From what is being pushed the CIA’s payroll to the “reporters-of-record” must be staggering!

Oh. And the fucking Congress too. What we have there is the classic Abbott and Castello antics of the dumb leading the stupid. The only difference is that Abbott and Castello made sense!

ISIS (aka … Al Qaeda in Iraq … AQI) is a terrorist organization that is crazier than bat shit and gives Muhammad a bad name! They are by far the largest group and the most effective fighters on the terrorists side of the coin.

Al Nusra is an Al Qaeda “affiliated” group that is the terrorist arm of the “Free Syrian Army”. Along with Ahrar al-Sham and several small groups of fighters aligning with the “Free Syrian Army”. They are the “moderate-terrorists” supported by the CIA directly on the other side of the terrorist coin.

An interesting side note: The Free Syrian Army really doesn’t seem to exist. It has become “. . . a mosaic of fractions and is now largely ineffectual” according Irish journalist Patrick Cockburn.

And not only doesn’t “The Free Syrian Army” exist but the UN Security Council in a May 2012 decision “blacklisted Syria’s al-Nusra Front as an alias of al-Qaeda in Iraq”, namely the ISIL. So the two sides of the terrorist coin is only one side … TERRORISTS!

There is no such thing as a “moderate-terrorist”, PERIOD!

But the Russians are being criticized now for targeting this very group!

The issue is that Russia is fighting terrorism ……… a good thing, yes?

But the United States are backing, training, funding, and supplying terrorists …. a bad thing, yes?

And the United States is also supporting ISIL (ISIS) by the fact that it was the United States’ CIA that created them and still supply them indirectly. Which is a bad thing, yes?

Now how is it that Russia is the bad guy?

Shall we continue pealing this onion? Any tears yet?

Why is it that the United States is aiding and abetting terrorists? Don’t we have laws on the books against doing that?

Well yes we do and in a sane world Obummer and his merry-men would all turn themselves into the nearest police station for breaking terrorist laws.

Tubularsock knows it isn’t a sane world so this won’t happen but it was just a fun side thought.

The United States is actually the greatest terrorist threat in the world today. We have supported terrorism for years. We even have a school where we teach terrorism.

It was called the U.S. Army School of the Americas but now it is called:

WESTERN HEMISPHERE INSTITUTE FOR SECURITY COOPERATION.

The United States also supports Saudi Arabia and supplies them with military supplies in great number which have been then passed on the ISIS. (Gosh, how’d that happen?)

Tubularsock is sure you remember that Saudi Arabia also provided money and support to the “al Qaeda” terrorists that attacked us on 9/11. (Gosh, they’re a trusted ally. How’d that happen?)

And it was the U.S. CIA that funded and trained al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden himself. (Oh golly gee …… How did that happen?)

Coincidence?

Yes, coincidence. Stuff like this just happens all the time. And it works a lot better if it is PLANNED-COINCIDENCE!

You see 9/11 wasn’t carried out by Russia because Russia is our “enemy”. See THAT would be too obvious …. get it?

No, 9/11 was carried out by Saudi Arabia an ally, see how it works now?

And Saudi Arabia had assistance and they were “allies” as well. Heart warming isn’t it.

Syria has been on the “overthrow” list of the United States for decades but even with that on the agenda the CIA used Syria between 2001-2003 to locate one of their torture prisons where those “suspects” were brought under “extraordinary rendition” to be ahhh, “interrogated”. Oh Tubularsock forgot, those were ENHANCED interrogations, got to have the correct protocol.

No the Russians, who are no sweethearts themselves were NOT involved.

Just good old Syrians and Americans conducting the TORTURE. And Syrian officials supplied U.S. officials with all information extracted from “detainees”.

According to a 2013 report by the Open Society Foundation, Syria was one of the “most common destinations for rendered suspects” under the program.

Do you find it kind of odd that the U.S. could get along with Syria when they were helping us torture but we can’t get along with them now?

It was said by former CIA agent Robert Baer in his description of the policy to the New Statesman: “If you want them to be tortured, you send them to Syria. If you want someone to disappear – never to see them again – you send them to Egypt”.(2011)

And Egypt is our ally too!

Now how is it that Russia is the bad guy?

EVERYTHING in that speech was projection. As he condemned others and their “wrong doings” he was describing exactly what the United States has been doing to the rest of the world! Really. Truly delusional.

Oh god! Tubularsock is not even going to get into the disingenuous shit that oozed from his lips you can provide your own barf bag and listen to it yourself. Tubularsock will only point out just ONE historical fact to you and that will suffice.

Assad DID NOT gas his own people …….. NEVER HAPPENED!

The rocket that did gas people was a rocket that came from the “moderate terrorists” that WE supported with some indication that Turkey was involved. And Turkey is OUR ally!

The backbone of this entire mess was created by the Defense Planning Guidance for the 1994–99 fiscal years (dated February 18, 1992). The unofficial name for this document is THE WOLFOWITZ DOCTRINE named after Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Paul Wolfowitz. But don’t forget his deputy Scooter Libby.

You remember them right ….. ahhhhh far right!

Paul was a major architect of Bush’s Iraq War and its most hawkish advocate.

And Paul went on to the World Bank and became all mixed up in a sex scandal with Shaha Riza losing his World Bank job over the entire sorted mess.

And Scooter became Cheney’s lap-dog and exposed Valerie Plame as a CIA operative and thus became a traitor to the United States but didn’t get prison time because Little Bush commuted Libby’s prison sentence.

As you can see Paul and Scooter have little in the way of integrity but even with this scum level persona the Wolfowitz Doctrine has been followed and used to direct U.S. foreign policy to the determinant of our country!

His Doctrine pushed for:

1. U.S. Primacy which establishes the U.S’s leadership role (leadership in this context meant taking over control of the world) within the new world order.

2. Unilateralism which downplays the value of international coalitions having the U.S. direct all action.

3. Pre-emptive intervention, the U.S’s right to intervene when and where it believed necessary.

4. And to STOP the possible threat posed by a resurgent Russia.

THIS IS THE UNDERLYING PROBLEM RIGHT HERE!

And until the United States breaks with this insanity we will be in perpetual wars.

As Obummers foreign advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski says: “It Is Infinitely Easier to Kill a Million People than it is to Control Them . . .”

Déjà vu

Do you recall, the importance of Déjà vu in the Matrix?

Well let Tubularsock remind you.

In the Matrix Déjà vu meant that there was a shift in the Matrix and one needed to heed that change because it meant DANGER!

Well some things just don’t die ……. they can’t even fuck themselves to death though retired Army general and former CIA Director David Petraeus certainly attempted that with his biographer and lover Paula Broadwell!

And that “retired” preface doesn’t explain his role in giving classified documents to Paula. But rather than being court martialed and sent to prison, you know, like Chelsea Manning. No, David got his full retirement and now is still giving the Obummer Administration advice on defeating ISIS!

Petraeus is pushing for the Administration to consider using so-called moderate members of al Qaeda’s Nusra Front to fight ISIS in Syria.

Now Tubularsock has mentioned this before but hey …… it all repeats itself.

What the fuck is a MODERATE TERRORIST? They only cut off one leg and one arm?

Gee, Tubularsock really hates to bring this up David but back in 2007 when the surge failed al Qaeda in Iraq, which the U.S. trained and provided weapons, became ISIS!

THE QUESTION BECOMES … IS PETRAEUS COMPLETELY NUTS?

Or was he so settled into Paula’s “bush” during the Bush Years that he missed the surge failing?

Now lets get this straight. The al Qaeda that the Government blamed for 9/11 is now going to be on “our side”? Well Tubularsock guesses that the logic is as sound as Saudi Arabia who helped fund 9/11 still is our “trusted ally”. You know, anything can work if you keep your eyes closed!

But Tubularsock has a far better plan and one that would work.

How about the U.S. start to back the Assad Government in Syria because they have shown the ability to stay the course. That way we become friends with Iran and Russia and bomb the fuck out of the Saudis and take their oil which is “our” anyway.

HUMANITARIANESQUE BUT NOT!

This week the USAID’s “Large shipment of life-saving assistance arrives in Yemen”.

According to its website:

WASHINGTON, D.C. -The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the arrival of enough wheat to feed more than one million people for two months in Yemen this morning. The wheat shipment from USAID totals 35,800tons and is valued at approximately $21million. It will support the emergency food assistance efforts of the UN World Food Program (WFP).

Wow, $21 million ……. sounds like a lot doesn’t it.

And this week from the U.S. State Department:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. State Department has approved the possible sale to Saudi Arabia of 5.4 billion in additional PAC-3 missiles built by Lockheed Martin Corp., the Pentagon said . . . and $500 million worth of ammunition. (Reuters)

Well it seems to Tubularsock that that $21 million doesn’t seem like very much anymore.

And if you add that in October, 2010 the U.S. provided Saudi Arabia with $60 BILLION worth of arms, the largest arms deal in American history well that $21 million just looks more like chump change now doesn’t it.

Now just a reminder for those who haven’t been awake. Saudi Arabia is blowing the shit out of Yemen and has been for months. And the U.S. is providing all the shit to blow up the shit.

Well it comes down to this, the American backed dictator of Yemen was overthrown by a rebel group called the Houthi and the Houthi are not the guys the U.S. wants to control Yemen and nor do our good friends the Saudis.

So the ONLY solution is to blow the shit out of all the men, women, and children of Yemen.

Are the people of Yemen pro-Houthi or pro-former dictator? Well, who has time to ask.

WE (America) don’t like the Houthi and that’s enough.

Now Tubularsock has given up a long time ago trying to figure out the good-guys from the bad-guys but whether it’s a dictatorship of the Houthi or an American appointed dictator what’s it to those under either dictator.

The most honest thing about all this is the U.S. is not talking up all that bringing democracy to Yemen crap. Tubularsock see that as growth.

But here is where it gets Orwellian.

The U.N. started on April 17, 2015 an appeal for $274 million (the cost of one helicopter) to respond to the most pressing humanitarian needs over the following three months in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia IMMEDIATELY volunteered to write a check out for that exact amount. BUT THE AID WOULD COME WITH STRINGS ATTACHED!

And those strings would control who got the aid. Now, in the once upon a time world, humanitarian aid was directed toward civilians who were caught in the middle of a conflict regardless of who they were ……. they were civilians.

But by Saudi Arabia controlling the humanitarian purse they have turned the humanitarian aid into genocide.

As Sheikh alMatari, the head of Yemen’s Rasoul Akram Foundation, an aid organization stated,

“After unilaterally and, let’s be frank, after illegally declaring war on Yemen, (do we dare say preemptive?) the Saudi government wants also to dictate how humanitarian relief is distributed in the very country it is attacking”.

And Sheikh alMatari continued, “. . . aid funding in relation to Yemen, the U.N. de facto institutionalized aid segregation by allowing humanitarian relief to be conditional to certain criteria: political affiliation and religious orientation.”

As outrageous as this is the United States and the United Nations stands by and allows this genocidal behavior to take place.

Makes Tubularsock wonder whether either of these entities are worth anything any longer.

DOING THE MATH

What do you think it means that the United States in 2014 carried out 443 drone attacks?

There were 377 in Pakistan, 59 in Yemen, and 7 in Somalia and what is striking is the fact that we are not at war with any of those nations.

And even more confusing Pakistan, we are told, is an ally.

So what are we doing?

Now there was a time in our history where we declared war against some country BEFORE we bombed the shit out of them.

But Tubularsock thinks that that must be one of those quaint old-fashioned ideas.

You know, like honesty, integrity, and honor. Which are all passé if we ever really had them in the first place. But Tubularsock remembers a day when at least we thought we had them.

Today we know we don’t. And Tubularsock thinks that without a guiding principle we as a country lack relevancy. Just why are we killing hundreds of thousands of people? What is the purpose?

No one really believes any longer that we are doing it to promote democracy and freedom. Especially when it has become obvious that those goals have been weakened in our own country to a dangerous level on the way to extinction.

A lack luster election with no more than the old tweedledee-tweedledum candidates all “officially” lying to “the people”. “The People” all know that they are lying to them yet some are still willing to stand with signs and balloons and play like they are excited. Even THAT is an obvious lie. Really, watch their faces as the camera pans as a candidate is speaking and you tell Tubularsock what you see.

Our society is one of the most violent in the world. We kill each other at an alarming rate. We have the largest prison population in the world. We are drugged out of our minds. Far more than any other society in the world. And Tubularsock is speaking about “legal” drugs and their effect. These are the drugs that “respectable” people use. The ones rubber stamped by the government as safe as doctors hand them out like candy!

The only thing it appears that the U.S. is good at any longer is shipping our jobs overseas and having the largest military presence in the world today. Both noble goals for sure. Hell! We’re #1 in both!

Now don’t think that Tubularsock is going into morose-land here. No, there is always a silver lining.

You see Disney/Pixar released TOY STORY 4 last month and as The ‘Honest Trailer’ for ‘Toy Story’ explains:

“Get ready for the classic children’s film all about jealousy, broken dreams and the existential dread that you will one day outlive your purpose and be replaced by someone newer and better. … You know, classic Pixar stuff.”

Ain’t Amerikkka just great?

You know, every once in a while people come up to Tubularsock and say, “Tubularsock, why is the world so fucked up?”

Now first, the fact that they call out Tubularsock’s name alerts Tubularsock that they are addressing Tubularsock specifically. And that is satisfying because it tells Tubularsock that these people that say, “Tubularsock, why is the world so fucked up . . .” are putting their question to someone who KNOWS the answer.

That alone should give YOU a huge sense of relief. Do you feel better just knowing that? Tubularsock does.

In their annual survey, Win/Gallup International found that the United States is considered the number one “greatest threat to peace in the world today” by people across the globe.

That was the findings from their End Of Year (2013) survey that has been conducted every year for 37 years. And they do this survey according to Win/Gallup International because “this survey is compelling and is undisputedly the world’s first and longest global survey of its kind”.

But funny thing. That survey was so compelling that after the 2013 survey conclusion that the United States was the number one threat to world peace Win/Gallup International decided (after 37 years) to no longer conduct that survey. Which just goes to show you that if it’s Climate Change information, the Fukuyama Nuclear Disaster, or War Findings the best way to improve the truth is to NOT REPORT ON IT ANYMORE. Ahhh, now that’s settled.

1. Now the reason the United States has found itself in this situation is not because when it comes to arm sales the U.S. stands head and shoulders plus a head and shoulders plus a head above all other nations in the world. In fact, in 2010 fucking Obomber approved a 60 BILLION DOLLAR weapons deal with that sick and deranged Saudi dictatorship, the biggest arms sales in U.S. history!

2. Nor could it be because when 111 nations of the world called for the BAN on the use of the cluster bomb the United States would not sign the treaty and then proceeded to sell cluster bombs to the Saudis and supported their use of them against the population of Yemen!

“Obama has himself previously planted and detonated banned cluster bombs in crowded civilian areas of Yemen and killed several times more civilians, including some 21 children and 5 pregnant women, than were killed in the Boston Bombing.” (Robert Barsocchini, 5/3/15 Washington’s Blog)

Just think of the above statement when you watch Obomber sing Amazing Grace in front of that congregation in Charleston for Rev. Clementa Pinckney. And when he talks of those who “terrorize and oppress”. If that congregation had had any intelligence at all they would have gotten up and walked out on that mother fucker but oh no, they all “did their duty” oblivious to the baby killer they were singing with …….. shame on them, shame!

3. Nor could it be that the United States is the only country in the United Nations that will not ratify The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child which is a human rights treaty which sets out the civil, political, economic, social, health and cultural rights of children.

The reason is because it forbids both the death penalty and life imprisonment for children!

During his 2008 campaign for President, then-Senator Obomber described the failure to ratify the Convention as “embarrassing” and promised to review the issue. And now it’s 2015 and well, ahhh.

No none of the above are reasons why the world believes that the United States is the number one threat to world peace.

The reason is because we ARE the number one threat to world peace. And we as a people are delusionally sound asleep to ourselves.

But as things move along as things do it is painfully becoming obvious that it is doubtful that our institutions can pull America out of its trough.

In fact if you really look at the truth of “our?” Congress and “our” President you will quickly realize that “our” own government is AT WAR WITH US!

According to Gallup only 8% of the American public have any faith in Congress!

A huge number of American citizens believe that the government is no longer serving its own people.

And as Senator Jeff Sessions, one of the 39 Senators who voted against the TPP deal, stated, “They won the vote, but lost the trust of the American people . . . It is remarkable that so much energy has been expended on advancing the things Americans oppose, and preventing the things Americans want.”

And the amazing thing about all this is NOT GRACE but the fact that what we have as a so called leader is an empty, pathetic, sad example of a man that has no grace at all and that is sadly amazing.

TRUST? SILLY PEOPLE.

Do you recall when Angela Merkel’s emails were the subject of hacking by the NSA? And she was all pushed out of shape because she THOUGHT Germany was an ally of the United States. And to show just how close the United States was to that concept when Germany asked the U.S. to sign an agreement to stop this spy activity the U.S. had the audacity to say ……… NO!

That was back in 2013 and in addition it was discovered that according to the British newspaper The Guardian the NSA was able to monitor 35 world leaders’ communications in 2006. A memo said the NSA encouraged senior officials at the White House, Pentagon and other agencies to share their contacts so the spy agency could add foreign leaders’ phone numbers to its surveillance systems.

Now jump to last weeks email hack of Obummer’s emails. And all the hype created BECAUSE IT WAS THE RUSSIANS! And they aren’t an ally. So not being an ally of the United States would put you in the position of NOT TRUSTING the United States. And being an ally of the United States puts you in a position of NOT TRUSTING the United States.

Tubularsock see the same old pattern being played out …….. you can NOT TRUST the United States. Really, Tubularsock knows it’s old news.

However according to the U.S. Government’s new military doctrine created by the US Army, Win in the Complex World 2020-2040 provides the basic concept that is based on ever-changing variables. “The enemy is unknown, the geography is unknown and the coalitions are unknown” states the document. So as for allies in the course of the 21st century “. . . each friend can become the enemy. Friends and enemies can be changed arbitrarily“.

Now that is sure comforting but it goes back to Tubularsock’s premise, “you can NOT TRUST the United States”. Pretty simple if you ask Tubularsock.

And in this “new?” view presented by the U.S. Army, the current practice is clear in the current training mission of the 173rd Airborne Brigade in the Ukraine. This entire Ukraine take over by the United States overthrowing an elected government will not be (nor has it ever been) an isolated incident , but rather part of a comprehensive, new strategy. Or same as it ever was!

In this new document several principles are to be considered for future military successes, “. . . the US military has to be active in social media and controlling the public display of conflicts.”

The entire US approach will be a global presence with troops in the entire world before a possible outbreak of a conflict. In addition storing weapons in hiding and on bases to respond in time of war as quickly as possible.

This entire current “Atlantic Resolve” strategy of US soldiers and war materials in Eastern Europe is part of this new military program.

So, just how is 2020-2040 any different in military policy than 1940-2015? Sounds like an instant replay except we have let our “allies” know that “Friends and enemies can be changed arbitrarily”! So, Tubularsock figures that at least some honesty is better than none!

Which brings up a basic axiom, ONLY AN UNHAPPY PEOPLE SUPPORT WAR.
