Well, I have a friend who bet me there won’t be an election. Maybe? The husband predicts a north-south civil war. It could happen if either win.

LT, Tubularsock figures your friends have just as good of a guess than anyone else on the matter.
Tubularsock is a little biased when it comes to the American public.
Don’t see a civil war however. Americans don’t have the ability to formulate rebellion. You’d have to get off the couch. And if Tubularsock was going to control the gun toting masses Tubularsock would just put on TV some hot porn and a baseball game and wham!!!, Revolution over! And beer sale up.
Sure it may be too simple but rebellion requires getting out of bed and running around getting dead ……… and one may take note that the STATE has far more war equipment than the gun toting citizen and hell the STATE will kill anybody!
As far as the election. No problem. There will be one and the agreed upon “leader” will take the helm regardless who the citizens want. Same as it ever’s been.

Tubularsock just can’t picture what actors that would have to be be found that could even get close to the wretched protagonists they’d have to play.
Even the Joker actor created emotional issues for himself after playing that part.
Can you imagine the travesty for an actor to perform such despicable depths?
