long as you have a bucket
and a shovel
so as to clean up as the
abundance of PURE SHIT
oozes from every corner
of your TV or computer screen.
Even the smell is intense!
And hell maybe you are one of the
brain dead. Not Tubularsock’s problem.
But maybe you’re not.
Then what?
Yeah, you can vote.
BUT FOR WHAT?
You may still want to insist that your
vote counts for something but that only means
you are delusional.
Your vote lost out to CASH a long time ago
while you were busy trying to make a living.
Unless you are willing to grab your AK-47
and take to the streets, then you have lost.

Those who trusted in your dysfunctional political system, your oppression and your lies will now share in your well deserved downfall. It is also unfortunate that your fall from your non-grace will impact so much of the world; so many innocents who never did a thing against you yet you went out there, hating and killing and profiting. You’ve never been anything more than a well-known vicious whore and now your johns are screwing other whores. So sad.

Hi Stacey. As a person without a country -I have a French citizenship because I was born there but I’m not French; I have a Canadian citizenship because my parents emigrated me here therefore I’m not Canadian. I’m a Celt, of those without a country because we were conquered and are supposed to accept the conqueror, which I adamantly refuse to do. That said, obviously I am not patriotic and in fact I find patriotism to be an emotionally debilitating condition. That also said, I don’t give a rat’s ass what country any patriot is defending but in your case I happen to be very savvy about the blatant misdeeds of your country. Well, let me restate that: you don’t have a country either because that place where you live is the HQ’s of a globally exploiting and destabilizing EMPIRE. If you lived in a real country it would have a name. When I speak against “America” I am speaking against the Emperor, not his slaves. I’m looking at Darth Vader’s death star, knowing that at any moment that death star could wipe out this entire planet’s life. That said, need I remind you of Hilary Clinton’s famous quote: “We came, we saw, he died!” (cackle, cackle) of the murder by US agents of Muhamar Ghadaffi, leader of Libya. As some of my international contacts so lucidly point out, the US is not America. It is probably not even representative of the Americas, as you Canadians should know.
In any case, the US sowed the seeds of its own collapse a long time ago, with with its bloody, genocidal history, rape of the land and its resources, and supercilious attitudes.
Who needs enemies when we are so good at self-sabotage?

Your question, unfortunately, is not rhetorical. The answer is, we are our own worst enemies – I’m including Canadians in this for make no mistake they are no better, just not quite as intense in bragging about their “accomplishments.” If they had the numbers and the “force de frappe” of the US military they would be as bad, perhaps even worse. My opinion, of course, but based on years of observation as one who considers herself as having no attachment to any country, or even to this world.

Is there any system on this planet that works for everyone? Is there a system anywhere that works for all? If, as you suggest, human beings are just fodder and slaves for more powerful (but not necessarily more enlightened) entities, what’s the point in trying?
I agree about being our own worst enemies. That has been true for me, which has helped me maintain a sense of humor (or at least irony) about myself. How can I fear anyone else if my own worst enemy is in the mirror?

It strikes me that forcing people to watch the conventions would be a great form of torture. If they tied me to a chair and forced me to watch replays of the conventions, I’m sure I would confess immediately.

I used to US-bash with non-Americans. I know it’s flawed. Deeply. Disturbingly. The rock has been yanked up lately to show what’s beneath. There’s a lot of good but it almost doesn’t seem to outweigh the not so good and the bad right now. But I’m not gonna US-bash with people who don’t live here. Especially if it’s a constant rant and not just a few comments dropped here and there. We’re in a serious pickle in this country. But if Camden, NJ can overhaul its police department and crime has plummeted, like, 80 or 90% under the new enlightenment, our country can overhaul its thinking, its ways, and turn a corner. It seems unlikely at the moment, but my hope hasn’t completely died. It’s lying in bed listlessly and has a slight fever, but it ain’t dead yet……….

SB, no question we are down for the count and our future is bleak and if they keep pushing the untested vaccine we should be able to kill at least another 83,000 before we’re through.
But hey the profits will be through the roof!
We will see just how Camden works out but change is definitely what needs to happen at a multitude of levels.
