Ok. What exactly is the real issue with Syria?

Let Tubularsock give you a quick rundown ……….

The Assad Government is currently in control and “we” are trying to destabilize Syria by supporting the “rebels” because Iran, Russia and Hezbollah back Syria.

And if Assad “wins” it would put Iran on the front burner of prestige in the Middle East.

On the other hand, the “rebels” are primarily Al Qaeda and even the ones that are not are extremist elements of Islam and if they win they would form an anti-American government. The kind that we have been attempting to eliminate in our silly “War on Terror”. The kind that would become a beach-head for training and implementing attacks in Europe and maybe even in the “homeland”.

So I guess you would have to wonder why we are backing the very Al Qaeda that we have FEARED for so long. Why would we support the very enemy that we have created an entire “brand-name” for ….. The Terrorists?

On top of that the Obomber Administration demanded that the Syrian government allow UN investigators into the area where this recent chemical attack has taken place to check out the facts on the ground. No sooner than the agreement was made between Syria and the UN for inspections Obomber and Kerry pushed the UN to call off the investigation completely!

WHY?

Tubularsock thinks that when the truth comes out the rebels (“our guys”) implemented the chemical attack JUST-LIKE-LAST-TIME when chemicals were used.

Gee, how can the U.S. justify bombing the Syrian Government (meaning any fucking civilian in the way) if the rebels are shown to be the chemical attackers?

The presumption of Obomber to even think that the U.S. some how has the right to bomb a sovereign country that hasn’t attacked us is an act of aggression. 

This is against International Law and against the U.S. treaty agreements that the U.S. has signed. WTF!

But as always, Tubularsock has the solution.

Yeah, it’s Tubularsock’s new campaign.

No really. If the U.S. followed Tubularsock’s advise and BOMB ISRAEL FIRST immediately we become allies with Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, and the Palestinians for starters plus a whole range of other Middle Eastern countries and the U.S. in these times of cost savings could stop dumping billions of dollars down that Israeli drain.

And just think what would happen to the Israeli Lobby. Those fuck-sticks would have to go out and get real jobs rather than sucking off the tit of the United States.

Ok. Let Tubularsock get this straight, “THIS international norm cannot be violated without consequences,” stated John Kerry. Now is this really real or is this some type of Onion satire.

The United States has just about broken every international norm that there is in the past fifty years and still John Kerry can stand and with a straight face and perfectly groomed hair tell the world that there must be consequences for the use of large-scale chemical weapons attacks.

Well, Tubularsock couldn’t agree more. Finally John Kerry is going to hold the United States responsible for its large-scale use of Agent Orange in Vietnam. The U.S. saturated that land with that deadly chemical and caused hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese CIVILIAN deaths and birth defects and ruined the farm land.

Agent Orange even caused death and disease within the American military with continued health issues to this day.

Wow! John Kerry is something. Do you think we will detain and arrest the CEO and the Board of Directors of Monsanto? How many Air Force generals will be detained? Wow. This is going to be big!

And gosh, now that we are on a roll I’ll bet John Kerry will follow up on the use of depleted uranium, the chemical element of Atomic number 92, a dense radioactive metal used in weapons that the U.S. has used in Afghanistan and Iraq. And even though we all know that EVER surgical strike placed in those countries missed every civilian, John will investigate and hold those in the Bush and Obombmer administration to the letter of INTERNATIONAL NORMS.

Golly gee! And the use of NAPALM will be ended by John as well. That is a chemical product that has been widely used by the American military. Do we have enough prison space in the Prison-Industrial-Complex to house all of these guys?

Not-to-worry, not-to-worry. With all of that American exceptionalism we are up to the task in order to bring ourselves up to INTERNATIONAL NORMS!

Now you have to admit that John can only do so much. It will take some other great governmental official to bring America up to International Norms around torture, attacking nations that haven’t attacked us, and droning the world at leisure. Hmmm, I wonder what Henry Kissinger is doing in his spare time?

Oh Pleazeee …….. spare Tubularsock! The papers from the CIA that shows that the CIA was involved in the overthrow of the DEMOCRATICALLY elected government of Iran back in 1953 and helped to install the DICTATORIAL Shah are now(?) revealed?

Does anyone really think that “knowing this” fact changes anything? Well it doesn’t.

Let Tubularsock fill you in on a little top-secret-secret. That is what the CIA does!

If you added up the number of innocent individuals that have been killed because of CIA involvement since 1953 you’d find that the death rate of Hitler’s antics in comparison were chump change.

And yet ………… this revelation matters? FUCK NO, to coin a phrase.

Now in case you missed the back story ………. The entire deal was centered around Iran‘s plan to nationalize its oil industry causing the British oil companies to lose out so the CIA and the British intelligence service, the S.I.S., funneled $5 million to back a coup that prevailed and set up a pro-Western government.

But what is important to note is that Iranians working for the C.I.A. and posing as Communists harassed religious leaders and staged a bombing of one cleric’s home in a campaign to turn the country’s Islamic religious community against the government.

And the reason Tubularsock wants you to take notice of this little fact is that that is the tactic used by the CIA and the FBI right now in order to try and make you fear THE TERRORISTS. It is called a “false-flag” operation. You know ……… attacking oneself and blaming it on the other guy so YOUR people get upset and back you up. EVEN when YOU created the problem but your people are not aware of that part. The fake Gulf of Tonkin Incident that got the American people hyped about going to war with Vietnam. The fear of Saddam Hussein’s WMD’s which is a bit of a switch because it was based on the fear of him doing something rather than anything that he did.  And just for fun, just where does 911 fit into all of this?

And now that we are on the subject ………. when you have Vice President Dick Cheney in the White House bunker on September 11, 2001 being informed that a hijacked airliner was headed for Washington, D.C. and then asked by a military aid, “. . . if the orders still stand?” and he responds, “Yes, the orders still stand, have you heard anything to the contrary?”.  And then that hijacked airliner hits the Pentagon without any attempt to intercept that hijacked airliner ……………….. AND ONE IS LEAD TO BELIEVE THAT “WE” HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ATTACK? BULL SHIT!

Keeping yourself in ignorance does not make you or your family safe ………

The wonderful thing about Congress is the fact that they are ALWAYS so …… well, on it.

Now after sitting on their, ahh …… brains, they are all activated over the NSA and the fact that the NSA will not release any information to Congress. Well it is all top secret, after all. Obummer tries to calm Tubularsock’s fears by telling me that I’m all safe and snugly because in our “check and balance system” Congress has oversight over what the NSA is doing and all is just working the way we were taught in 8th Grade civics.

But let Tubularsock give it to you in Obummer’s own words …….. “These programs are subject to congressional oversight and congressional reauthorization and congressional debate. And if there are members of Congress who feel differently, then they should speak up.”

So Congress rushed the doors of knowledge to find out the FACTS so they could do their oversight, reauthorization, and debate. Ok, they’ll do that right after they get back from their three week break. No really, this is an important issue about freedom vs a police state so as soon as they get back …………

As Congress rushed off they did say breathlessly that these NSA programs were such revelations to them all. Nobody ever told them (The programs are all top secret, after all.) how massive and invasive these programs were meant to be! Wow, total surprise, total surprise!

Tubularsock figures Google searches don’t work in Washington, D.C. for some reason. And simple logic and common sense seems in short supply as well.

NSA asks and receives a ZILLION dollars from Congress to run their secret programs and Congress is then surprised that all this spying is happening. What in the hell did the members of Congress think that that billion dollar file storage unit in Utah was going to be used for a Mormon dance hall?

So if Congress is so surprised about the NSA why did they all condemn Snowden for giving them the information that the NSA won’t give them? Maybe they should be giving him a fucking medal for doing something that Congress doesn’t have the power or ability to do.

Now when the members of the House spoke up as Obummer requested and attempted to remove funding to the NSA and stop the spying on all Americans it was the Republicans who made a stand and supported Obummer along with the Democratic Party’s leadership with Nancy Pelosi in the lead and voted it down.

But what is significant to anyone who is paying attention is that Nancy supported the NSA under Bush as well but acted like she didn’t. So did many of the Democratic Party leadership.

So Nancy Pelosi and 82 Democrats stood shoulder to shoulder with Michele Bachmann, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Peter King, Steny Hoyer and 129 Republicans to keep supporting the NSA spying on all Americans. Now that is bi-partisan collaboration if I’ve ever seen it. Who says the two parties can’t work together to keep the American public enslaved!

But the vote was close because 111 Democrats and 94 Republicans voted against oppression. Now can they keep that up and shift the tide from a police state mentality to an open society without government spying on the citizens? Stay tuned.

Now to pull off this round of spy control Obummer had to pull out all stops and rush the NSA top guns into the House to scare the members into THE FEAR OF THE TERRORISTS! (a la Bush & Cheney)

And to punch it up a notch the closing of all the embassies in the Middle East all of a sudden because of the EXCELLENT work of the NSA had just done in exposing the increase in “chatter” between the major players of Al Qaeda. Wow, and what perfect timing.

Interesting question: How many American citizen’s phone, emails, Facebook entries, Twitter statements, internet posts had anything to do with Al Qaeda “chatter” in the Middle East? 

But the fear of THE TERRORISTS is never complete without the reminder that THE HOMELAND is in constant danger.

Rep. Michael McCaul a Texan Republican and Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security states that the State Department warning is significant because al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is probably the biggest threat to the U.S. and are “ . . . the  faction of al Qaeda that still talks about hitting the West and hitting the homeland. And their expertise is chemical explosives, hitting the aviation sector, as we saw with the underwear bomber. So we are on a high state of alert.”

Let Tubularsock remind you about the underwear bomber (2009) because he seems to come up as the constant fear of the HOMELAND. He’s kind of like the Santa Clause of terror except he carries his presents in his shorts.

The NSA had “chatter” at the time about the underwear bomber but no real concrete information. The guy gets on Flight 253 in Amsterdam without a passport, with a oneway ticket he purchased in cash and with no luggage. (Now, who would suspect?)

It was the passengers and the flight crew that stopped him from his attempt to blow the plane up with a bomb style that had detonation issues. Not the NSA, the CIA, or the FBI.

Now, exactly how does reading your emails and listening in on your phone calls make the HOMELAND safer again?

Two FBI agents from the FBI’s elite counterterrorism unit fell to their deaths while “quick-roping” from a helicopter to a ship in a “practice” exercise.

Special Agents Christopher Lorek and Stephen Shaw both died when the helicopter encountered unspecified difficulties causing the agents to fall.

Lorek and Shaw a month before were involved in the arrest of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings.

Now if you haven’t followed the bouncing ball of the Boston Marathon bombings, well you may be in for a surprise. There are many strange and unanswered questions about

many aspects of that bombing. One being, when exactly was Tamerlan (the older brother) killed. You see there was this video of a nude guy being arrested that the Tsarnaev family said was Tamerlan and the police said that it wasn’t.

Later Tamerlan was all shot up and was clearly dead. And that’s the story the FBI and press went with and how could one believe differently?

And then there was the so called robbery of the liquor store ………. didn’t happen.

Dzhokhar (the younger brother) was shot in the throat yet he was able during an initial interrogation in the hospital declare that Tamerlan was the mastermind. And that they were self-radicalized and unconnected to any outside terrorist groups ( you know the lone wolf theory) but were motivated by extremist Islamist beliefs. Shot in the throat but talkative ……..

And the CIA involvement?

Then there is the Chechen connection.

Well, let me add this bit of information for you to ponder …………

Remember Naval Seal Team 6 that, I guess, killed bin Laden or at least some guy in Pakistan got killed. Well a few weeks after that mission the Seal Team itself was killed in a Chinook Helicopter crash in Afghanistan. Ok, shit happens I guess.

Now I know the government wouldn’t lie to Tubularsock but there are a few questions about the bin Laden mission that did come up. Some say that bin Laden had already died at least four different times before …….. but who’s counting?

And then the pictures taken of some dead guy were not shown to the public because you know how squeamish Americans happen to be unless it’s rubbernecking at a traffic accident.

John O’Neill (48) started his new job as the head of security at the World Trade Center on August 23, 2001, 19 days before the attacks. Partly due to personal friction he had within the FBI and federal government, O’Neill was pushed out of the Bureau in 2001. O’Neil was the foremost counter-terrorism expert in the FBI with extensive knowledge about al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.

Or how about Barry Jennings, a key 9/11 eyewitness who was an emergency coordinator for the New York Housing Authority, who passed away at age 53 from circumstances not yet disclosed on August 19, 2008.

It is very unusual that a prominent — and controversial– 9/11 witness would die only days before the release of NIST’s report on WTC7 and shortly after a firestorm erupted over his testimony that he heard explosions inside the building prior to collapse of Building #7. (confirmed on video tape from NY Fire Department Personnel)

Or this, Kenny Johannemann, who reportedly committed “suicide” 12 days before the seventh anniversary of 9/11. A janitor who worked in one of the World Trade Center towers and helped save lives on 9/11, in addition to witnessing what he described as “explosions” in the tower basement.

Congress: Two Day Work Week

Ok. Tubularsock is just going to get you clear from the get-go about his jaded point of view.

Have you ever noticed what is really within a person’s name? Let me give you an example:

 

CLAPPER. Tubularsock’s first feeling with CLAPPER is ……… “will I need shots?” ….. “is it contagious?” …….. “is it sexually transmitted?” 

 

You know that sort of imagery.

 

And really, that is much more positive than when I think of James Clapper, Director of the U.S. Intelligence.

 

You see you might have missed this, 55 Senators did, so don’t feel bad if it had slipped your mind.

 

But just before the “Father’s Day Weekend” (what kind of fucking cover is that!) Thursday the 13th the top officials from the FBI and Justice Department, James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence and Keith Alexander, the head of the National Security Agency (NSA) all sat shoulder to shoulder and briefed the Senate Intelligence Committee on what a great job they were all doing stopping terrorism plots.

 

Fun side note: The Senators that took advantage of the short day and headed back to their home states for Father’s Day weekend just had to get home. But the short day was not short. It was only short if you didn’t go to the meet-up.

But maybe just maybe, in defense of these dead-beat Senators, they realized the level of pure undulating bull shit that was going to occur. You know when you are wearing a $3000. suit you don’t want it to get stained because whatever hits the fan will not be distributed evenly.

 

The briefing also included the former chief judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court and his rubber stamp. The rubber stamp received an applause for it’s perfect service and incredible endurance.

 

“It’s hard to get this story out. Even now we have this big briefing — we’ve got Alexander, we’ve got the FBI, we’ve got the Justice Department, we have the FISA Court there, we have Clapper there — and people are leaving,” Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said.

 

Well for Christ sake Diane, you scheduled this meeting at 2:30pm on a Thursday afternoon! When Congress is doing an eleven to two workday two days a week what do you expect. Thursday is fly home day and Monday is fly back day. Everyone knows that!

Ronald Reagan: The Butcher of Latin America

You may not have noticed because the American mess-media seems to think Benghazi is the only thing that is going on in the world, well except maybe, OJ attempting to get a retrial in Las Vegas. But in little ol’ Guatemala the court there has convicted former dictator Efrain Rios Montt for genocide and crimes against humanity.

 

Now that is embarrassing. GUATEMALA! A country that 90% of U.S. citizens couldn’t find on a map if you outlined it in red has a court system that can hold a former leader responsible for his actions. And right here in the land that continually mouths the platitude: “we are a country of laws not of men” is so busy “looking forward”, in Step-An-Fetch-It-Obomber’s terms, that we have missed putting the entire Bush administration in jail for the same crimes as Rios Montt!

 

But not to worry. The fix is in. And has been for a very long time. And now that Step-An-Fetch-It-Obomber has joined the ranks ………. well now, just how can the Black call the kettle …….. U.S. war criminals stand together.

 

Rios Montt is being held responsible for his deliberate killings by his armed forces of at least 1,771 members of the Maya Ixil population during his 1982-83 rule.

 

He had them murdered in cold blood.

 

The current President of Guatemala Otto Perez commanded troops in some of the bloodiest regions of the war under Rios Montt. President Otto Perez says, that there had been no genocide in Guatemala. However it all depends on who is carrying the gun, doesn’t it.

 

Fun side note: During the trial, one prosecution witness implicated Perez in atrocities, saying that troops under his command burned down homes and killed unarmed civilians during the conflict that killed up to 250,000 people.

 

Efrain Rios Montt didn’t do this all alone ……….. his accomplice RONALD REAGAN.

 

Yes, “Ol’ Death Valley Days” himself.

 

It was Ron’s administration that provided military arms to Rois Montt.

 

Fun side note: If you were to buy a gun and  give it to a bank robber and during the robbery with that gun the robber killed the teller, you would be an accomplice to that killing. However if you do that same thing but the recipient is a dictator you get a library in your name.

 

Now if you want to take the time and follow Reagan’s devastating blood-soaked unprovoked aggression and unflinching embrace of some of Latin America’s most unsavory dictators feel free. All the information is out there. And Tubularsock encourages you to do so before the historical record is white-washed and “re-interpreted” like Iran-Contra.

 

Reagan’s extreme mind set about communism led him to a hemispheric foreign policy characterized by simple-minded formulations. The result was a staggering death toll. An estimated 70,000 or more political killings in El Salvador, possibly 20,000 slain from the Contra war in Nicaragua, about 200 political “disappearances” in Honduras and some 100,000 people eliminated during a resurgence of political violence in Guatemala.

 

The Reagan Administration provided the guns, bombs, helicopter gun-ships and training. And the training is still going on at what was once called The School of the Americas which changed its name to Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation.

 

A funny side note: Basically it should be called The Torture Training School or School of Assassins. And this is what your government does in its spare time folks while you watch American Idol!

 

There is no historical evidence that during the eight years of the Reagan-The-Butcher’s reign that he was ever morally troubled by the bloodbath and even genocide that occurred in Central America with his assistance. Maybe that is the reason the old shit got Alzheimer’s disease and frothed at the mouth!

 

No, Tubularsock has no sympathy for that psychopath!

“U.S. approaches allies as it tries to boost the rebels, including with possible military aid.”

“The administration said last week it was rethinking its opposition to arming the rebels . . .”

“. . . noting that the U.S.’s main concern is the use of chemical weapons by Assad.”

These statements are all from the Associated Press which makes anyone who knows what is actually happening in the real world wonder who the Associated Press is associated with as they continue spewing this meaningless banter.

Let Tubularsock clear up any doubt about this entire Syrian mess. It’s pretty simple really.

The U.S. doesn’t like Iran and Syria has the support of Iran.

Iran and Syria don’t like Israel and the U.S. supports Israel.

The U.S. has been involved it supplying and training al Qaeda going back to Ronald Reagan.

Funny side note: The U.S. supplied and trained Bin Laden and his boys so they would attack the Soviets in Afghanistan. They ended up attacking us …….. remember.

Al Qaeda is at the center of the “rebels” who are attacking Assad and attempting to topple his government. So the idea that Obama is “rethinking the opposition to arming the rebels” is ridicules. The question really is, will we ever stop arming them.

The U.S. wants to topple Assad so as to weaken Iran’s presence in the Middle East.

The U.S. and Israel both are frightened about Iran building a nuclear bomb.

Funny side note: Back when Dick Cheney was running Haliburton they sold nuclear components to Iran. That is where Iran got its ability to build its nuclear power plant and its ability for making a nuclear bomb. Funny side note: It was Ronald Reagan who sold Saddam Hussein the chemicals that were used to make weapons. (Have you noticed a recurring theme?)

And now it has been revealed that it was the U.S. under the contract of a private contractor who trained the “rebels” in the use of chemical weapons and IT WAS THE REBELS THAT USED CHEMICAL WEAPONS NOT THE ASSAD GOVERNMENT! This is what former war crimes prosecutor Carla Del Ponte has discovered and she and fellow members of a four-member U.N. human rights panel have indicated.

And still the U.S. is “. . . saying it’s highly likely that the Assad regime, and not the rebels, has been behind any chemical weapons use in Syria.” (Obama via Bush playbook)

The Constitution Project which is a legal research and advocacy group released their 11-member bipartisan panel’s 577 page report about the actions of the Bush Administration’s torture program.

Now if you want all the details go to http://detaineetaskforce.org and you’ll blow your mind. Like it’s not new information, it has just cleared out the bull shit!

Tubularsock is not going to outline for you what you should read for yourself. You remember when Obummer took office he wanted to “look forward” rather than do anything about the illegal war crimes of George, Dick, Condi, Paul, and Donnie to name a few. By doing this Obummer himself committed a war crime. (remember …….. torturing is an established war crime)

You see, no matter how much John Yoo and Jay Bybee twisted the legal reasoning in order to deliver  the “OK” for torture, it just doesn’t hold up to legal standards either with domestic law or international law ………. PERIOD!

Now don’t get mislead here. Under international treaties and Constitutional law they all agree that TORTURE IS ILLEGAL!

The fact that you call it by another name say, “enhanced interrogation techniques” does not change the fact that it is torture!

That is the way it should be. There was a time in the United States of America where we stood for something. Americans believed that torture was immoral and was not to be tolerated on our watch.

Well, how old fashionably quaint. We are the modern America and torture is IN and acceptable by the majority of the American public. SO BE IT!

But really, Americans don’t want to look hypocritical so here is Tubularsock’s plan to bring the world along with the New-American-Order program ………. Torture-The-American-Way.

1. The United States apologies to Japan for putting to death those Japanese that were convicted of conducting torture during WW2 and pay reparations to their families for their loss. We admit that they were correct and we were wrong!

2. The United States apologies to Germany for the Nuremberg Trial holding Hitler’s underlings accountable for the torture and killing of 6 million+ Jews, Gipsies, and Gays. After all, it was only collateral damage. And the German SS were just following orders just like the U.S. military at Abu Ghraib, Bagram Air Base and Guantanamo. We admit that Hitler and his boys were justified in their actions and thank them for showing us the way. 

3. The Unites States apologies to Vietnam for portraying bamboo shoved under fingernails as something that was bad to do. The CIA and military admit that the Vietcong were correct in showing us the way. In fact the U.S. military are such strong believers in the Vietcong approach that they set up an entire “School” of The Americas (aka Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation) to teach Latin American dictators how to torture.

4. And there is always Korea but why go on. Let’s, as a people, just admit that we were collectively WRONG, say we’re sorry and as Obummer so correctively said, “Let’s look forward, not backward”.

No, we as a nation care little for human rights or even human dignity. Maybe that is why we as a nation have the largest prison population of non-violent drug crimes in the world.

But in truth, the largest population in the U.S. are the people on the “legal” drugs the pharmaceutical industry dispenses to doctors to keep the population asleep.
